Marty I think a video explaining how to position a part by indicating it correctly on C-Axis when having to finish on the 2nd side when a part needs to be oriented. Thanks
If you find the u-drill is cutting on retract out... i have run a reamer cycle.. in the tpc you can do a multiple based on the feed in... think you can put 999... be a multiple of 9.99.. can do it with a detrimental feed reduction in a drilling cycle to... sometimes that rapid and drill run out rubs the corners on a high speed steel drill... did it for a long 1/4 inch flat bottom... if I remember correctly was like 9 inches deep..
Dear Sir, do you know how to create a Mazak deep hole dwell program? I plan to use the end mill in drill mode, and I want to stop it at the bottom of the hole for a few seconds. if you know please me give a tip.
Go into temporary parameter settings and find dwell tab, I forgot exactly but play with numbers like enter 1 or 2 and see if it's going to be a second or two, if it's too long than do .1 and so on. I'll test it on Monday for you
I've looked at the parameters of live tooling drill and I only see dwell parameters for center, chamfer, but no drill it self, I think that your only option be to make a manual program, there are g codes and m codes that will allow you to do that, I don't have much time right now to look up these codes, but I dont see a problem with it to be any complicated, G83 from what I remember is face drill, add your Z location so -1 inch be 1 inch deep, q value be pecking q2500 be .25" each peck, and P is dwell, 100=1/10 so P1000 is 1 second
@@martyz3232 I also noticed that. there were no Dwell parameters for the center hole in my machine too. I will hope to make an MNL program for that work. using G83 as you say. I will let you know the results later on. Thanks for taking your precious time to consider my request. I really appreciate it. You're an awesome machinist.

Will do :) thank you for the request.

I have never tried a reamer cycle before, I will check it out when I get a chance, thanks for the tip.
