I must say the interviewer did a great job. Felt like he was asking questions that I was thinking of asking. Especially the follow up questions. "Why did u rob ur family member" and "how could u try to kill ur best friend". First interview of yours I watched and Def won't be the last. Informative and asks the tough questions that many cant ask. Well done bro... and tbh was not a fan of Gene and didn't like him for some reason before this interview. Probably cuz arrogance that he had from way back and all the hating he was talking about others and their successes. After this interview, I'm still not a fan of Gene's but I'll watch n follow his progress cuz now I dnt dislike him anymore. He spoke very straight up and honest I believe. I hope he continues like this, and focuses more on good future goals and not let past resentments with others make him make horrible decisions in the future. One thing I'd tell Gene is, if u dnt have anything nice to say about anyone, dnt say nothing. Cuz many disliked him for his opinions and call outs to sammy and mf. He was just trying to get replies from them for views etc, but they were n still r in a different class. His cousin Andy Ruggiano jr for example doesnt beef and didnt when it came to those guys. Hopefully Gene learns that trait from him. Trust me he'd get more followers

To your point: I think there was a time ,leading up to Appalachia and Valachi ,when even the words mafia and cosa nostra were almost unknown,let alone tattoos,rap music, track suits,the way they dress lately. Many of the most powerful members were friends of politicians,judges,entertainers,and often aclaimed as outstanding citizens in their cities.They could have passed for bankers or coporate businessmen in many cases.

Great job by the interviewer. Gene Borello is quite up front about his past. He is also very entertaining, and talks in a way that makes you wanna listen. I know people have ill feelings toward Gene and so did I. After this interview I actually enjoy listening to him being interviewed. He has a good way of speaking.
