Great video thank you so much. I really like your clever tricks like the offcuts for sitting the valve socket so the valve is sideways with an LED to light it. Sounds excellent too 😃
I absolutely love vaccum tubes! Making simple guitar amps and hifi amplifiers is a lot of fun. They're honestly feels like something more "alive" about working with the circuits. Like, each tube wants something a _little_ different which makes you renegotiate the values around the tube. IDK how to explain it😂 I just hope they don't TOTALLY disappear
Hello - is it possible to substitute ECC832 with a 12AX7 (ECC83) tube in this circuit? Perhaps with some resistor value changes? I have read that the ECC832 is one half (pins 6, 7 & 8) identical to the 12AX7 (gain 100) and the other half (pins 1, 2 & 3) is a reduced gain (gain 17). Any help would be much appreciated.
Great project

You're so productive with your shop! The laser cutter is the bomb.
Wow! Unique idea. Nice execution.
This is incredible! building your own modules looks like so much fun!
It's great to see all the process, thanks.
I expected a lot more fuzz but the sound turned out unexpectedly clean even at lower voltages.
sounds great
