    Hi, I'm from Brazil.
I like the video, is a best video of distortion guitar, I understand all process in amplifier operational. Tank you.

Wow the algorithm really did hit spot on this time. I am a guitar player which also is planning to study electronics so this is really interesting. Well done!

I'm not a regular guitar player, I just love a guitar sound and I'm just a guy with a guitar who can't play. I have read a couple of books on electronics. These books are Tietze Schenk's electronic circuits and Oppenheim Signals and Systems. This is all u need to start in electronics.

Hello from California! Thanks so much for making this video series. I too am a guitar player and have been using TH-cam to help me understand the world of electronics. By the way, your guitar playing sounds great. You have a nice feel for playing metal. These 2 videos are taking me to the next step to see how different circuits work and how they sound. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next video!

The only thing I could understanding was what the components where but I'm just learning and will be saving these videos for the future brilliant thanks

Check out the preamp of the Gibson Lab L5 amp . That is one of my favorite solid state amps . It was used by B.B.King .

Thanks so much for making these tutorial! I understand the basic behaviour of each block, and i want to try a simple simulation in LTSPice, but i don't have the knowledge to select the appropiate values for the resistors, capacitors, etc. Would you mind sharing these information about this simple design? Thank you so much!

Assuming that everything goes normal, I anticipate there will be numerous intriguing things for the students.

I came here looking to find out what a distortion pedal was. You can skip the diode clamping stage and just have to opamp clamp if you find a lower power op amp and feed it with low vdd/vss. Alternatively, just increase gain and then voltage divide output. Some opamps with have smooth clipping, and others might clip differently at different frequencies ( function of opamp bandwidth )

No distortion is not ideal, jazz tones do not sound good.

The signal will be shorted to ground because the diodes are connected in parallel in opposite polarities. There will be no output.

Diodes have resistance! This resistance is not a constant. Read about IV curve and differential resistance. With best regards. TonyD.

Your English sounds like someone that doesn't speak it imitating what English sounds like to them.
