- How are you all doing? y'all been busy??
do tell, what are y'all up to?
We've been doing some cattle work this evening and it went really well. We've got an extra set of hands and he was a big help! Dwayne also works cattle on his family farm so he already knew what to do and fit in quite comfortably with the Wolfe Pack.
After we get this group worked we only have 1 more group to go. I think we are going to pull our Priefert chute over to that place when we get time to run them through. Oftentimes, we haul the cattle to this facility but I think we are going to switch it up a bit and see if moving the squeeze chute works better. Hopefully, it will save us some time and put less stress on the cattle.
Speaking of saving time, I'll tell you what we've been up to... eating out$$. That's right, we are "regulars" at Taco Bell, Texas Roadhouse, Arby's, (hey crew) and a few others.... No shame in my game!! I've been overly busy this summer considering that this is usually my time to slow down and rest up for the next school year. Maybe July will slow down and give us a chance to relax....
You're busy too, I know, but why don't ya drop a line in the comments, we've got some pretty good conversations going, (thanks crew) y'all can jump in anytime...No shame in our game, we are a small but welcoming community here and as Mr. David from Farming for Fun and Profit would say, "Look for me when you see me."

Never to old to learn or not needing to learn. Update on moving. Waiting on bank here to get somethings done..so frustrating, were to call me Tuesday and no word so I called this afternoon and talked to another person and was told ... Oh she's sorry for not calling you back.. the branch manager will be back in her office tomorrow morning and will call you... I'm hoping to be by n xt Wednesday? I'll keep you updated.. take care

@@thecattlemanswife Your very welcome. I'm doing ok. Thanks for asking . Just want to get everything done here as should have been and moved. Was 103 here yesterday.. Tuesday I went and raked hay for a friend just to have something to do.. Did 67 rolls
In my life I have worked my share of Cattle ours and others, But like a lot of farm related things it has passed into obscurity.......
It's just the farmers in their field, alone doing their thing, nobody sees, nobody knows, they don't worry about being seen ... You are so humble❤️

There was a time when thought of making a video mudded the actions of what I was doing.....But as time progressed.... those thoughts... became less involved and the job at hand took priority.....Whether or not anyone sees or even cares .....So to all those who think you have to do it Hollywood... Go Pound Sand!
I live in two very different worlds, my day job is one world and my home life is another world, they don't always mesh... If you know what I mean. I try not to over think what I share here on TH-cam, it's a side of my life that most people I encounter can't relate to. I like making videos and sharing them...I wish I had been doing this when my oldest son was still at home and working on the farm with us but it's too late for that. I know he watches and recalls doing all the farm things when he was Ransoms age. Both my boys can look back and remember that they were rooted in agriculture no matter where their lives might lead them. Thank you for being real with me Mr. David, much respect to you sir ❤️

I prefer dry ice. It wasn't as cold as the liquid nitrogen.
