yesterday i got the 20 oz. smooth shockstop . on the concrete floor at lows i tapped it and the steel/rubber handle estwing and irwin and the toughbuilt came home with me . had a friend with me try after i did without him know what i thought and he could easily tell the toughbuilt had less shock . i don't build for a living anymore but i'm seemingly always building or fixing something at home or for friends and family . so im not a pro user anymore but i wish i had this hammer a few decades ago , haha . but yeah decent feeling hammer . i'm confident it'll last me a good while but on a job site beating and banging and miss striking the handle and bolt would concern me , but it may last forever . thanks and take care Tim , Jeff
@@THETIMINATORTHETOOLMAN maybe so , but i decided i wouldn't have had that issue with the new milwaukee so i went that route . i like to try new things , but everything isn't for everybody .
@ToughBuilt can you work with Tim and others to do more videos on your pouches? I have several but I am curious about how others use them and/or what the designed intent is. There are definitely some things I like and some things I don’t. I would be interested in talking to someone as well.
Just ordered one myself. I bought it off the looks alone😂. Looks pretty sick. Form carpenter and concrete finisher here so it’s going to get put to the test
I'd like to know how well this actually prevents ruining your elbow in comparison to carbon fiber, wood, and steel. I want to see someone do some sort of scientific testing with multiple hammer types.

i returned the hammer 2 weeks later because it developed a rattle and started ringing . i didn't want to be fiddling with a screw on my hammer .
Interesting, it you registered your hammer, toughbuilt may have sent you another one or something. They are really good about their products
