45:00 Hares were very popular in the Victorian era and were found in decorations on everything from jelly moulds to jewelry. I think it’s wonderful and hope you make lots of casts of this little leaping hare! 😊❤ You could make gilded brooches of the new casts!
I love Alex's "It's a LEG!" exclamation, it's tradition! 😊 Thank you both so much for another lovely video, great to see you're having a beautiful, sunny day! ❤❤ Much love from El Segundo, CA.
Hi Ladies! Looking forward to seeing what treasures you find! 🤗 I do like Alex resting on her Laurels! 😂 Watching the birds at your window is fascinating! 😊
Birds are so smart. There was a crow sitting by our car as we were eating. The crow asked for food. We gave her some bread and then she took it away. Came back and asked again. I gave her some rice and same thing happened each time until we left.
“It’s A LEEEGGG” 😂 Alex you find legs so often, Gail haven’t seen you find a Lid in a bit Lidia💐 cute traditions 🌷hope to see you pot the seeds & tree branch’s ☮️🦋💜
Loved seeing the two pudding dolls frolicking together in the roundup. For some reason I was reminded of Heidi and Kiara on the mountain.😊. The legless little one just needed a wheelchair!!😂
Your not alone in the love of the little things. You find such interesting items on your larks. Plus then you give, more often than not, a history or snippets of information about the things you've both found. It just adds to the enjoyment of sharing your larks. Yey to finding treasure too. 😂 A silver victorian coin. Not to be sniffed at. I really liked the hare printed into the lead piece...blob. its a shame we couldn't see that whole. Also the clay horse...that was lovely. What a pipe that must have been. I'm now off to watch the Lost Tower diaries. See you again soon. X
Nice variety of finds I believe Gail is right about the rabbit being a test of a mould ...it's better to waste lead than the final material for a test but it wasn't wasted because it has found a new home within your collection of curios....it's cool when little dolly has a friend to play hide and seek with....and we all love "It's a Legg"...looking forward to next week...Karl from eastern Canada
You always leave the uranium glass..if you set pieces like a necklace charm and make a mobile and display it with a blacklight..you have a moon catcher
Hopefully we will see the two cute puddingdolls in the next roundup! It's so funny to look for them somewhere in between your amazing finds. And what I am really looking forward to is a casting and jewelry making video.🎉😊
Gail, you are such a trend setter! My mom came to visit and I showed her your videos. Now, when she wears hats she does her hair just like yours. It's so cute. Love you guys!
Enjoyed your video. I really like it when we visit the river. Enjoyed the photography. Spring is a beautiful time. So many new beginnings. Look forward to the next video.
Its nice your tiny pudding dolls has a little friend and they still make me laugh when I see where you put them. I love love love the hare and its right for this time of year. It would make a lovely wall plate or perhaps Alex could cast it its so beautiful.
A tad late here, sorry, nice finds that week. Alex---I just LOVE when you say,...."It's a leeeeg"! I follow a couple on FB who love antiques and are restoring an old house. The other day he found some fabulous furniture in the trash, that also had some little people that were attached to it, and one item he found was.........a LEG! 😅🤣. I literally laughed out loud, and then told him all about you! He said he would check out your channel. Then other people chimed in and said how much they adore your channel, and then someone else said they were quite intrigued and would check you out as well. So, you are quite famous now for saying, "It's a leeeeg"! 😅. Please keep saying it. 😊
Another amazing day at the river, you definitely found some great finds too. Looking forward to seeing the progress of the growth of the trees, good luck, I hope they all grow. Take care and thank you for bringing us along 👏🙏❤️
Thanks ladies, I love the nature shots, the pipes look brilliant after cleaning and I can well imagine the beauty that you'll create with your other finds, cheers!!!
I am crying and laughing at your struggles. You remind me so much of my daughters and I who have found ourselves using brute force and determination to get a “treasure” home. I am a loyal fan who is so happy to found others of our tribe😂😂
Thank you both for inviting me into your lovely home & did you ever make a video on how you make some of your crafts .. thank you for your time & God Bless ...
13:33 Copper jelly mould. Victorian. Edit* After seeing the end of your video, I’m leaning towards agreeing with you about it being some sort of a sconce mount. Always very interesting to hear your theories! 😊
LOVE ALL YOU FOUND AND THE PIPE BOWLS BLOW ME AWAY WITH THE MANY DESIGNS. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME AND I WISH I HAD YOUR ENERGY. LOL. THANKS AND STAY SAFE ❤️ 🙏
At 14:38 in the video, there was broken red glass below where Gail was examining a pipe stem. If it was old red glass, it would have been made with gold, and worth collecting to re-melt into something new. At the final tabletop reveal, your conjecture on the matte vs. shiny finish on some cod marbles was interesting. It makes sense that the more the bottles (and the cod marbles within) were re-used, the more worn they'd look; even the bottles. I also imagine the type of liquid within the bottles would impact how worn they'd get. The more acid based the drink was, the more it would react on the glass, surely. Again, a fun day on the tip, always enjoyable with you two.
I can't resist saying it's a LEGGGG either 😂 The lead rabbit is really unusual, I can't imagine what it was used for. Love the pudding doll escapades, they are like cats, into everything 🙃 Another great time hunting for those glorious bits and bobs that make your channel so special ☺ Love and hugs to you both, 🥰🥰 xx
What interesting finds today ladies, my favourite is the little horse, l’m amazed it’s in good condition, already watched you operate the digger, that was a fun video, tfs x Julie
Alex you are SO CREATIVE posing the cute pudding dolls. They are LOTS of fun and often make me laugh. Great job. I love to sit in mnt streams. This past week we took a picnic to 1 and grilled out. While there I met a young single mother and her young daughter..4 maybe. I told her about you both and your channel and she was very interested! She has been in touch several times already.
The oddly shaped blue glass droplet thing appears to be a Prince Rupert's drop. It has some weird physical characteristics. It seems to be very strong unless you crush it in a certain direction. Then it shatters. They intrigued me, as they are so pretty but have some interesting physical characteristics.
Im late watching. Broke down on the A1 travelling back from Yorkshire to the NE. I try and place myself in mind on your find locations It makes my day when I watch many thanks sharing your excitement enthusiasm and charisma. I enjoyed another vid Keep safe and well Gail and Alex
Sorry i couldn't make it last night as i had to get up early this morning for a day out! I like all the bits and pieces that you found especially the Hare lead blob it was unusual. I thought about it for a while and maybe it could have been part of a run of them around a Victorian garden plant holder, the type thats an exaggerated wine glass shape? I love it when you bring in the frozen charlotte to play expecially with her disabled new friend aaaaaw shame her legs had come off 😟 Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing 😀❤
Such great finds I love how you pop the wee dolls throughout your shots...watching from New Zealand 😊...I love Nicola white on the river Thames n si finds luck in the muck...all the gorjuss treasures you all find...those bone pacifier pieces.n the little blue heart...❤❤❤
I just love watching to see where you hide the pudding dolls! And now there are 2…..☺️ I find I count how many spots you place them in, it’s fun! An added bonus with your video!! Love it! ❤️❤️
I love going mudlarking with you guys, you never know what you are going to find. Be safe and continue bringing us great mudlarking videos. 😊
Thank you, you too! ❤️🥰
I say ITS A LEG with you every time. I miss watching you create things. I look for your maker’s channel often.
It's a leeeeg!!!
What is their creation chanel called?
The horse, the blue heart, the pudding doll, the rabbit, the silver coin, and the two pipes ,wow
I am sick with the flu at the moment and you have no idea how your videos help me feel happy and peaceful. Just love them. Thankyou from Australia
Can’t explain how much joy you two bring to my life 🙏🏻 had a rubbish week and then there you are . Beaming with delight with your treasure 🙏🏻
Sorry to hear you had a bad week 😔 Glad to have you with us! Xx

Hi Ladies! Looking forward to seeing what treasures you find! 🤗
I do like Alex resting on her Laurels! 😂
Watching the birds at your window is fascinating! 😊
It's like a breath of fresh air when I watch your channel ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you bringing us along! Love the 🎶and 🐎you found.
You could make mosaic jewelry by setting bits of uranium glass into silver, or plastic, or any colored glass. Even into grout.
I was thinking to melt the uranium glass and make beads for bracelets etc.
Alex, we love it when you say, "it's a leg!".❤😊
Glad you kept lil "stumpy"😊❤

I always get a laugh at where your pudding dolls end up. Donna Michgan
Oh no! Ms Pudding has found a little sister! This can lead to more mischief! 😊 I love the little pipe horse!
ALWAYS lovely to see you two ladies!! Loves the bird, at the very end, stopping to say "so long!". 🥰🕊️
So beautiful! Perfect ending 🐦
I love that turquoise heart you found. It is so pretty.
Love the little ♡
I love the background music! Great video as usual! Thanks for taking us along !
Great finds! I love you have found a companion for the pudding doll…now they can get into some interesting poses together. 🥰
I loved this adventure, so, that if I watch other mudlarking channels, its just not the same!❤
I have stated "its a bead" when thrifting in bins...there are many ways Alex and Gail are part of us in our own adventures!!!
Some of those broken beads and blobs might make very bright pretty dishes if "slumped" together in your kiln on a porcelain mold.... :)
Your new pudding doll can now becan accomplice to the other one; getting up to all kinds of mischief! 😄
I'd love to have Alex pushed the little rabbit into her sand molds and pour silver in it and make a little charm. The rabbit is so cute.
We all love the way you say “It’s a leg”😍

What a delightful lark! And the little bird at the end (sparrow?) flying towards the camera was sweet! Thank you so much.🤗💓
You two always bring a smile to my face. Thanks and take care.
Love the water shots
love the funny montages at the beginning of the round-up...so fun. Another fun lark, thank you!
"Let's just all back away slowly..." Haha!😂 Thank you for making my day! 😊
Love watching you ladies my favorite find is the horse and the little chubby pudding doll

Such beautiful environment for a rubbish dump. Mother nature sprucing herself up.

More excellent content from these two lovely ladies!

I really liked that heart bead. It might make a great necklace. I also like it when you find ancient pipes as well as coins.
What interesting finds today ladies, my favourite is the little horse, l’m amazed it’s in good condition, already watched you operate the digger, that was a fun video, tfs x Julie
Another lovely day out ❤

Love watching you both on your journeys and the great finds you uncover.

I love your treasure hunts. It looks beautiful and peaceful!
I really enjoy looking for that small man among the finds group! You are so clever!
Alex you are SO CREATIVE posing the cute pudding dolls. They are LOTS of fun and often make me laugh. Great job. I love to sit in mnt streams. This past week we took a picnic to 1 and grilled out. You should collect the uranium glass and make a mosaic out of it. Maybe a ghost or witch for halloween.
I love seeing you make items from your finds. I saw you work with copper and make glass beads. Keep the crafting going on your recordings.
Im late watching. Broke down on the A1 travelling back from Yorkshire to the NE. I try and place myself in mind on your find locations It makes my day when I watch many thanks sharing your excitement enthusiasm and charisma. I enjoyed another vid Keep safe and well Gail and Alex
A legless pudding doll and a leg that doesn't quite match her! Love all your finds as always. ❤😊
The way you place the pudding dolls makes me smile every time. Where will they show up next. 😂
I had a good laugh with the laurel tree skit🤣🤣 The pudding doll still looked lovely. You had some good finds, including plants!
Hares to another blue heart in the window of wonders😎✌🏼🤟🏼🖖🏼🥰
Great video as always ladies x
Looks like maybe the round brass thing could have been part of an old miners lamp
Some interesting goodies today!
I think melted glass makes the piece extra special! Like a work of art rather than a damaged specimen. Idk, I just love to look at them.
I love your videos.
I wish I could come and spend two weeks with you ladies.
I love you both and God bless your treasure finds!!❤
Love the rabbi piece and pudding doll!!! More great finds 😻😻❤❤
