Haha nice! I’m picking mine up from the port here in about a month. I bet it’s gonna be a lot of accidental wiper flicks when going for the turn signal control at first haha. How is it going through fast food drive thrus? Cheers!

Do you recommend getting one over an MR2 to daily?

I just imported this same car from Japan last month. It's a way better daily than an MR2. More comfort, room and spacious. An MR2 will easily out handle a car like this in the twisties, the MR2 is a purist car while this is a luxury sports coupe. Both cars are built extremely well, if you're getting an MR2 the SW20 turbo or the Supercharged AW11 are the way to go. You can still daily an MR2 but don't expect it wont be ideal as this. Hope this helps you.

Tyler if you want a Supra on a budget then yes... I love these cars, I drove one once (usdm) that had a 2jzgte swap made 400 on low boost and handle like a m3 gtr. On high boost it made 700 and still handle like a m3 gtr, so If I were you I’d get one.

i'm an mr2 owner. mr2s are still functional and useful as dailies. YOu can get away with it, but it's certainly not a hardware store go-getter or have-a-nap type of car.
For those purposes the soarer is a much better car, and even as a cruiser.
For performance and handling, however, i'll argue in favour of the much lighter and more nimble mr2 with the 3sgte or engine swaped to a v6 or k-swap

I’ll second that. My 1990 MR2 Turbo is a surprisingly comfortable daily driver. If you’re single, like I am, it’s got tons of storage and can easily handle grocery getting duties. My Soarer GT-T is far more comfortable but, because of it’s weight, is much slower than my MR2T and my Celica Turbo. If you want the best of both worlds, the hatchback Celica is the way to go.
