Many thanks for your comment. I used Google translate and am happy this brought back memories of your vacations. I hope you get to visit again, and I get to visit Germany again one day too
@@Walk4KToday that doesn't apply to Melbourne unfortunately...you are so lucky over there...here in Victoria the weather changes like "the girls change their clothes"...
It looks so lovely, we were meant to stay a week there from the 23 December 20 to the 30th December, but for obvious reasons had to cancel as we are from the UK. Weather looks so good as well. We were very excited as well, hopefully December 2022 we will have to rebook.
Hi, yes it is very nice. Quite busy given the pandemic would have meant many less tourists so I can imagine it would be buzzing without the pandemic. Fingers crossed you will get there Christmas next year. I am sure you will enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
Hi, thanks. It wasn't too hot, about 30c/86f. Definitely didn't see any snakes, spiders or crocs. Any crocs and I would have been running not walking lol
I spent three weeks of my life (only because I was very lucky in a casino) in Port Douglas. I had no idea what to do with a £6000 win, so when I went back to work the next day, my friend suggested I take a really good holiday. I spent three weeks in Port Douglas in 1999, and it is probably the happiest days of my life. However, watching this, I think like everything in the world, money has taken over. Sad, but I see that is the only way humans seem to be able to progress.
Hi William, that's a big win! That's so good to hear it was such a great experience. I hadn't been to Port Douglas before so I don't know what it was like 20 years ago but no doubt it's experienced the same sort of population influx many coastal places have recently. I can imagine it was pretty idyllic, laid back and low key back then.
Great Video. I still remember Post Douglas back in the 70`s and 80`s very different now.
Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice and green ...
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice! Haven't been there for over 20 years. Looks very nice, can't wait to have a look again myself! Cheers for the tour

Beside the iron bar is cole supermarkets
Nice! What was the temperature?
And did you spot any snakes or spiders? Or crocs?

What camera and equipment did you use my friend?
This was shot on a DJI Osmo Pocket. It's a great walking camera as it doesn't attract too much attention
