Damn what an awful experience. Mine’s at 60k miles and the only major issue is the fact that it burns oil like crazy. The front axles were leaking grease as well, and that was a bitch to fix, but it’s not as long term as the oil issue it has.

I bought it thinkingit would blow up and break my heart but so far it has been excellent. They are fussy though, they run on very specific oil which you need to order through Abarth and the issue is most mechanics and even some dealers use the wrong stuff.
I really want to hear a stock UK 500 Abarth vs stock US 500 Abarth. The UK ones sound more aggressive than the US one. I'd really like to hear the difference
no they dont... They both have mufflers the Cat's on the US ones are less restricting then the EU ones. you hear more turbo whistle in the US but you get a lower growl in EU but honestly the difference is negligent unless you're really trying to hear a difference.

It doesn't have a muffler which is why it gets loud and the blowing is called a turbo. Don't worry though the more people like you exist the more abarths are available for real car enthusiasts.

Is the steering wheel too far? You can get a spacer for the steering wheel mount to be closer to you.
