I always mix flexible resin in for durability. Every one has their own percentage amount of flexible resin to normal resins.

Yeah, I need to start doing that for pieces like this. Thanks

That's not wood, rather the root of the tooth...

What ratio of transparent to gray resin did you use? Amazing job!

Thanks! I really wish I kept track of that, it was really more of a guess. Sorry.

Amazing video. Thanks. I have never painted a print before so going to get this model, print it and then paint it. When you used primer, did you prime all the way to the end of the blade where it stays translucent? I have some grey plastic primer already and don't want to cover the end. Or should I buy some clear plastic primer?? Also what is a good brand of paint to buy?? I know nothing about painting!!

What resin printer did you print this with? I'm looking into getting a resin printer to go with my bambu lab, also to print one of these, but I know most resin printers dont allow that large or length of printing. So if you joined the blade together in pieces, I'd love to know how. Thanks!!

Fremen Crysknifes had a curve to them.

Beautiful job, Kevin! How long are the blade and scabbard pieces? I'm wondering if my Saturn 2 has a large enough build volume? It'd be nice if you included measurements on the Website where the files can be purchased.

Yes, I need to add the sizes at 100%, I always forget to do that. None of the pieces will fit on the Saturn 2 at full scale. The sizes are
      Blade - 364.8mm
      Handle - 145mm
      Sheath - 396mm
I've added these measurements to the listing. Thanks.

Thanks, Kevin. Have you ever thought about selling raw prints of the larger pieces?
Guessing needto start saving for a larger resin printer.🤣

@@reprinted3D Thought about it but I hardly have time to print stuff that I want. :P
