Depending. If you're trying to build your set than I say buy it a booster box or for fun. Collecting better off buying singles.

@@ValueTCG Well, we all know the only Bandai game that has kept value in cards would be Dragon Ball Worlds. I am not sure about One Piece. So is a 50/50 it would be good or bad.

Just got wings of the captain booster box ebay, arrived today (its sealed and in good condition), looking to get the rest of the boxes as a long term hold. probably gona check out my local tcg and see if they have any box deals or market value. Great insight on the market probably gona watch this vid three times lol

My buy in for this set would be at 70. You make good points however I think the ones to really keep an eye out on are op01,op05 and op09 also prb
@@jont3928 great comment! I think the difference, which I didn’t get to, is the upper limit for a box. 01, 05, and 09 have higher caps, whereas 06’s cap is lower.
Which is also why entry point is very important - if you’re entering 06 at $150, there’s not going to be as much profit. Whereas if you enter 05 at $150, there’s still upside long term.

I'm a fan! I have a decent number of boxes myself. I think Awakening is probably the most like Evolving Skies from Pokemon.

Do you think the optcg will go a long way ? I just hear from everyone that „ it’s a Bandai tcg so it won’t last long“ because they did something wrong in Dragonball or digimon. I personally think one piece is a different type of a beast and it will do very well what do you say ?
Honestly Bandai just prints to fast where they run out of character to print on the tcg side Bandai is known for ending tcg after 5 years or so. I would just play it safe
That's definitely a risk. There are no riskless investments in this world!! Not even US treasuries :P
I do think more than any of the other IPs, One Piece has better longevity

I was looking at Wings of the Captain as well. a lot of those sellers are selling opened boosters boxes. how can you tell if a booster box plastic hasnt been opened? This is my main concern
Yea no. What you said is blatantly false. Skeevy individuals will sell you with the plastic off. Almost 99.9% of distributors won't because the margins don't make sense to do that. Drop that poor brain mentality.
If you buy from a credible online shop, it usually comes sealed. If it's not, get your money back!
Some people do sell unsealed version of boxes, but they *should* highlight that it's "no plastic wrap" in the item description. Hope this helps!

Depends on your risk appetite and time horizon. I am buying some because I can eat losses if it doesn't work out and can hold for a long time. Whether you do is totally up to you :P
