I think if I had to say, this one is probably maybe the top of the line fragrance by YSL? Man, the notes and everything you described sounds like something I might really like. Only thing that slightly got me nervous was it's super huge performance it sounds like it fills the room. You smelled it when you went back into the truck.. Holy smokes. lol. Not that I care about that huge projection though. The classy masculine rich man type vibe sounds awesome. And I'm the type to be sometimes annoying (not on purpose always though lol) and wear this in my regular around the house clothing such as yourself. IDC if it's for a special occasions or not. LOL. What you described here sounds almost like Bentley Intense EDP vibe going on. That ones is a super projecting & longevity classy rich man beast type scent also. But, I haven't a clue what "Oud" even smells like. I looked it up and it said "An animalic note with the scent of fresh, slightly damp soil, a barnyard, or hay drying in the sunshine." ?? Yikes, not only does the word "amimalic" scare me a bit away from a blind buy on this one, but also it saying like a barnyard? Yeah I'm not a fan of any barnyard type smells. I've had this M7 in my Walmart Online shopping cart for quite awhile now. It's $64.73 for a 2.7oz. So that would be a huge risky blind buy for me also at that price. And I don't want to just use Walmart as a tester that is not cool. If I didn't like it, that is what I'd pretty much end up doing. There’s some Private Blend/Niche competitor stuff coming from YSL that no one talks about ever, and there’s also YSL Tuxedo which gets lots of air time, but I sort of have to agree. This must be the top end of what they’ve made and currently making (not counting the niche-esque stuff). M7 is just so damn good! I really neglected to say how smooth and well blended this fragrance is, but it’s up there with the modern greats like Dior Homme Intense. Honestly this is one that I think you really might like and once I get my PO Box set up I’m going to send you a jaunt of it to try out. I’ve got Bentley Intense coming up sooner than later (it’s in the requests line up) so we’ll see what similarities there are, if any. I definitely thought a few times that this is one I’m for sure going to send you some of, because in my mind it is exactly what you like - distinctly masculine and more mature than not. I think the descriptions of Oud are more off-putting than the actually scents are 😅, although, I’ve seen that there are various different ouds, some being derived literally from an animal, so yeah, there’s that. THIS ONE, though, I think is what they refer to as designer Oud and really isn’t off putting at all. I can’t say for sure, but I think perhaps you’d like it. With summer coming up I'd be hard pressed into wearing much of any colognes or fragrances unless it's evening. And the ONLY fragrance I'd be putting on is the Cool Water. I can't think of any other fragrance I currently have that I'd be willing to put on in the high heat temps we get here. It's spring here and cool enough to still wear whatever I want for the day, but the hotter it gets I can only think of the Cool Water being the one I would be willing to wear. If it's past 90*+ then it's a no go on all fragrance wearing for me. Even in the house. I mean even with the AC we have wall units still so between 2PM-6PM it can still get to warm in the house even sometimes. I'm curious to find out what fragrances you might be willing to wear during the summer if any. ? You might want to save that thought for a future upcoming video perhaps. I don't have any "equatic" leaning ones besides the Cool Water, and you now how I ended up felling about the Nautica Voyage. No way would I even think or consider wearing that Nautica Voyage stuff during the hotter weather. Would be like adding a layer of extra clothing or extra sweat. lol Glad it's starting to warm up out there for you. Let's hope it'll be a mild summer. I hate the heat and I could use to lose some weight also I suppose. My late night walks coming soon again. I live in the San Fernando Valley so it's basically a desert part of Los Angeles County so it gets in the way higher 100*+ temps a lot of the summer time unlike the city areas of LA or near the beaches that are usually in the mid 80-90s.
🤦🏽 sometimes I forget that not everywhere is a waking ice-box like Upstate New York. I’m still out here wearing winter fragrances like it’s no big deal, but I’m sure most of them would be a serious no-go in your area right now. Those are nice, but definitely unisex. I think for summer I’m really looking forward to the D&G Light Blue’s that I’ve got, a few Lacoste’s and Bvlgari Aqva and it’s flankers. I’ve also go Cool Water Pacific Summer, so that’s a definite must open, eh? It stays fairly mild where I do most of my work, and the wind is ever present. Actually there’s way too much wind here, it drives me crazy as it makes even the nicest looking of days intolerable. Since my main job has me outside a lot (but not always), and my side job is exclusively outdoors, I’m not going to refrain from wearing fragrance 😅 I was honestly planning to use Voyage as a wrecker bottle for my side work, as we end up camping and it can get rather hot and I don’t want to spoil a good stink. Sounds like it might be a no go? 🤣

And it wasn't too hot (mid 80s today) but we turned the AC on for a bit so I was fine & good wearing it inside and even when I went outside a little bit in the garage & backyard it was fine. The dang D&G The One EDP is one of my very favorite top smelling scents but it's performance sadly sucks and is weak on my skin. Doesn't project hardly much even after just applying it on me. I can smell it but my wife nor daughter really can't unless they directly smell it on my skin. And I got me the EDP version. So that is a bit of a bummer. One of the best scents and it's a bad performer. But it's so good smelling I'll still wear it anyways for myself now & then regardless. At least with the regular Cool Water edt it projects and last at least 4-5hrs on my skin. I really look forward to hearing your review & thoughts on Cool Water Pacific Summer. I never smelled that one or any other variation flankers of Cool Water. I heard Cool Water Intense smells nothing like the main Cool Water so I never got it. I looked up the notes and I noticed the Cool Water Pacific Summer you have doesn't have any musk in it so I'm really interested to see if it just might be more of a summer wear actually. The D&G Light Blue might also be a really good one for warmer weather. Good luck I hope they are. Your weather sounds like our fall. All freegin' wind and I hate the wind. On the Nautica Voyage it might work for a lot of guys it's just not my type of scent. The apple was overbearing a bit for me but I can see it being maybe a decent summer scent to wear for others in more milder climates. In the desert heat I'd say a no go. It's not so strong in your face it shouldn't bother anyone else. It is a good performer though I'll give it that. Seems by all the hype a lot of women supposedly also really like the Nautica Voyage. If it really has that bad of performance, it must smell amazing to continue to be sold this day in age. So now I’m really trying to wrack my brain and think of all the Eau Fraiche style fragrances that I’ve seen, as I’m now rather curious about fragrances made for high heat applications.
