The much anticipated grand final of the KitKat Cup between Jock Kettles and myself it has been an epic journey so far! After fishing Glencorse and Loch Leven the score is all square. In this nail biting finish to this years even it goes down to the very last cast of the day! The Trout fishing at the Lake of Menteith has been on fire who will come out on top this year?

Lindsay, could you show us the flies that you used in the forthcoming video. Perhaps followed by a separate video showing how to tie the successful ones....assuming that you didn't blank of course 😅
The video itself is made Ronnie but in the coming couple of weeks I will be doing tutorials on the successful patterns. They will be released every Monday at 6;55pm.

Lindsay don't beat yourself up about the quality of the video. I look forward to the Kitkat cup videos every year. They are brilliant. Very informative and funny as well. One question if you don't mind. When fishing the "nearly fly" on the Lake did you have a team of 4 flies on a sink-tip line with booby on the point or was it some other set up? I'm going to the Lake next week and I'm keen to try the fly. Many Thanks.

Hi Lindsay I seem to be constantly wrapping my dropper around my main tippet, what size of dropper do you suggest so I don't end up in a heap every 10-15 casts.
I have my droppers 6-7” but still occasionally get wrapped up. Especially if I am fishing with boobies.
Great videos as always very good to watch. Was wondering what is jocks thoughts on the snowbee buzzer line. Been thinking of getting one but wouldn’t mind an opinion on it first. Thanks
I can ask him next time we chat but his all time favourite is the Rio 6' tip he does ever so well on that.
