Jim Carrey is amazing in this. I think with some stronger characters outside him and Rene Zelleegger and a better plot it could have been a real classic. Still as it stands its a great Jim Carrey fun fest. Love it when he fights himself.

While it was a good movie and I completely understand Hank was written the way he was for comedic value, I still say it would have been better for him to actually be something of a genuine badass. The whole point of the Hank personality was that he is the sum total of everything Charlie represses, that should've included being able to kick ass.

I think I know what experiencing a cotton mouth is like- as a side effect of the medication he’s taking to treat his mental illness. A cotton mouth is a numbing of the mouth after an injection of uh sedative is applied as in the operation to extract a damaged tooth or to repair a damaged gum from an infection. It feels as if you have your mouth stuffed with cottons.
It was funny at the time, definitely abnormal but with mental illness and drug abuse on the rise these days I would assume he was a crackhead. Crazy how innocent we use to be as a society…
