Imagine the view on top of those mountains here in the Philippines! The sunset or sunrise. Get that sea of clouds in Mt. Pulag or have an underwater shoot at Palawan with all the colorful corals below and Pinnacle Karst Landscapes above. I love how they're slowly breaking out of the "kpop wannabe" impression. This sounds more 90s American boyband. I say they should use this to their advantage; combine the good points of Kpop with American Pop then add the signature "heart" of OPM. ShowBT should utilize these boys' strengths. They are trained like Koreans but are better English speakers. They have the Pinoy heart but does not settle for mediocrity (which is sadly normalized in our country). They could make it big, just handle them well.

Actually, because it's entirely in English, a lot more Int'l audiences will be encouraged to listen. Even their mixed Tagalog and English songs which were the first ones that Int'l reactors listened to have transcended the language barrier. SB19 is truly paving the way for our music and language to be appreciated and learned by foreign audiences. The emotions in their performances are what carries the message of their songs to these audiences. 🥰😍

True, for international idols, the groove, swag and beat may be there but they always loose me when it comes to the lyrics. I can't really relate much coz the emotion is not really felt so much. It's so happened na ngayon, iba na ang bench mark pagdating sa choreography at precision ng galaw. Pero to be honest ha, noon, feeling ko mas focused sila sa singing kumpara sa dancing. If dance group, dance group talaga like our local Street Boys or Maneouvers or UMD, etc (though inspired pa rin siguro from western bg). Unlike na lang talaga siguro kung si MJ ang pag-uusapan hehehe. Disclaimer: Observations ko lang nung lumaki ako in the 90s (and dalagita in 00s). I love how they're slowly breaking out of the "kpop wannabe" impression. This sounds more 90s American boyband. I say they should use this to their advantage; combine the good points of Kpop with American Pop then add the signature "heart" of OPM.
ShowBT should utilize these boys' strengths. They are trained like Koreans but are better English speakers. They have the Pinoy heart but does not settle for mediocrity (which is sadly normalized in our country). They could make it big, just handle them well.

Actually, because it's entirely in English, a lot more Int'l audiences will be encouraged to listen. Even their mixed Tagalog and English songs which were the first ones that Int'l reactors listened to have transcended the language barrier. SB19 is truly paving the way for our music and language to be appreciated and learned by foreign audiences. The emotions in their performances are what carries the message of their songs to these audiences. 🥰😍

True, for international idols, the groove, swag and beat may be there but they always loose me when it comes to the lyrics. I can't really relate much coz the emotion is not really felt so much. That's why I don't really go for Korean, Chinese or Japanese idol groups.

That's why I really love this song because I remember the boy bands that I loved while growing up. Brings back the memories when I got scolded by my father because he saw me kissing the posters of BSB, Westlife, Nsync, 98 degrees, Moffats, etc in my room - I was in elementary (around late 90s) hahahaha.
@@pinoy5889 , The boy bands in our time were also full of charisma also and their dance moves were also lit. Feel ko nga they were the bench marks of other group bands before. It's so happened na ngayon, iba na ang bench mark pagdating sa choreography at precision ng galaw. Pero to be honest ha, noon, feeling ko mas focused sila sa singing kumpara sa dancing. If dance group, dance group talaga like our local Street Boys or Maneouvers or UMD, etc (though inspired pa rin siguro from western bg). Unlike na lang talaga siguro kung si MJ ang pag-uusapan hehehe.
Disclaimer: Observations ko lang nung lumaki ako in the 90s (and dalagita in 00s). I could be wrong with my with western bg though or may mga groups ako na 'di ko nakilala nung lumaki ako :)
