Why do you not do the side-to-side vibrato like Alan does it? Just curious. For me, it's harder to do physically than just bending but I recall Alan doing mostly only the violin type vibrato instead of pushing the strings. Great job on this one. Some crazy gymnastics in every solo, it seems.
I'm jealous. Good to know it's not my fault. I wasn't born with the gift. Most do not have the finesse in their hands to do this no matter how many years or decades they practice. Good on you.
um, this might be one of allan's most rhythmic solos, would you not agree? i mean, as in terms of playing more meter based than lots of hemiola phrases??? edit. i think YOU interpret his music more rhythmically than he does. as i typed hemiola, the solo went into allan's 'hemiola territory, 'but to come back to more motif. but i think you emphasize the rhythm in the way that allan didn't
Magnifique, chapeau!!

Non Brewed Condiment next!!
wow! once again, flawless! Congrats and thank you! Beautiful tone!
oh, you. YOU! i like that you have your own tone. it's so easy to watch and see the notes you play, no notation or tabs required
Love Your channel! Outstanding playing and I’m in awe of Your Holdsworth covers! Too damn good 👍 Stay after it 😁
Thank you! Many more to come 😊
That Strandberg is very nice, Fishman pickups are an interesting choice for jazz
Definitely haha
Very nice 🏁
Bonkers!
Thank you
Great, as usual! Would you say that holdsworth lines are closer to sax lines than to regular guitar players?
Not really! They are really unique but I would say they are closer to Coltrane’s line from the years 1963,1964 and 1965 sax wise
Amazing work, congratulations for covering all these Holdsworth solos and much more! Do you figure the solos by ear? This is incredible, keep it up!
Yes all ear
