Still very fucking impressive, but I don't think "almost no arch" is that impressive when he was lifting his butt off the bench in some of the reps. Amazing upper body strength though.
My best friend got to 400 naturally at 242 so I am not going to question this guy.......but then my bud did 6 weeks of Dianabol back in the early 70s and got to 450 in 6 weeks ,making a state record, and blowing out a pec in the process. It was heartbreaking for him and the biggest regret of his life. He never benched more than 225 again.
It’s crazy how when you first start out 225 seems impossible. Then after doing it you start to realize you’re not even close to reaching your full potential.
im 32 years old, just started weightliftting for the first time in my life 3 months ago and was able to bench 135 for the first time last week. This week I did 2 reps of 135lbs ;) I was obese, 197 lbs 5'7, and now I am 187lbs , im still obese i think, but I would like to stay at this weight and just gain muscle, 225 seems impossible but this video is inspiring! p.s. I only do benchpress 2 times a week, and only 3 sets of 10 ... should i change this?
Hey bro, I'm 32 also. Congrats on starting your journey. I have been at this a few years and can bench 295lbs at 170lbs bodyweight. Best advice I can give you is take your first working set on bench to absolute failure. You said your doing a 3 x 10 right? Instead of stopping at 10 reps on the first set, get yourself a spotter if possible and do as many reps as possible. Let's say you get 13 or 14 reps, but now you feel like you've got nothing left for the last 2 sets. That's what you want. The second and third set you may not be able to do 10 reps, that's OK. And you don't need to take more time to rest between sets just to get those ten reps. Focus on pushing that first working set as hard as you can. Add 5lbs each week. This is what got me past the 225 mark and almost to 315 now. When I started, I could only bench 95 for 1. Keep going.
@@CalebTheSeeker thanks for the tip! yes i have a spotter available, my wife LOL! i got bronchitis so i havent been to the gym for the past 2 weeks, :( im getting better now so i hope to be in there again soon! and congrats on your numbers man, those seem like impossible numbers to me, but very inspiring indeed :)
yeah during Covid i was at LA. Fitness and they threw you out of Gym if you did not full cover nose while lifting, I went through few gyms back then You are lucky
More gear than genetics. You can have them but gear is what makes you grow and get strong. Hes on gear 100%. Its boring now to see all "naturals" lying.
Videos like this are pure gold.
The girl did a better job spotting than most of the guys in the video. Awesome job also, very inspiring.
you act like girls cant spot as well as guys.
bro she cant even deadlift this
wtf did she do?she was loike 6 ft away when he was racking the weight.sh***y spotting by her.
no she did not 💀💀💀 she was just staring
Beautiful, im about to hit 315lb and dream of hitting 405. Videos like these inspire me
The arch got unlocked at 7:47 and it made all the difference! “He understand it now!” That 365lb was smooth af!
Erwin's line during 405 was sick
I just hit 315 for the first time and this came on my feed. Good stuff bro, loved how hyped you were everytime
Damn bro got me all excited and motivated currently I'm at 185
Narrow grip, almost no arch. Very impressive strength👍

That 315x5 hits so good after grinding . Keep going bro
Bro been eating a lot of trenbologna sandwiches.
Great job, and you documented it so you'll have something to look back on and show your own kids at some point in the future.
Hell yeah brother. It's a long road

Currently stuck at 315×2. Hoping for 365 - 405 1 rep max before I die. Great video!
Bravo men ! My goal too ! Im actually in the road with 160 kg at 19..

Fr bro.
Let me guess, 135 to 405 littered with Tren. Never a date for a lift showing him doing this in weeks after starting steroids.
You don't look like a big guy. Your feats of strength are impressive. That's a lot heavier than most people can comprehend
