I watched both parts. You got a amazing collection Jake! I'm envious. You have quite a few guitars iv wanted for years. its really cool and interesting to here about your family all being musicians. Nice one!
That red Epiphone sg is a 2011 50th anniversary model, I played on mine for the last couple of days, I have done hundreds of gigs with mine. They are rare as hen’s teeth over here in the United Kingdom… absolute keeper thanks a million for the awesome video… oh yeah mine is tv yellow but they made them in white / ebony/ cherry and tv yellow
@robertfoster1339 Thank you! I just dug out the gig bag for mine that came with it. it says its a 1961 reissue or spec and it says 50th anniversary. I guess I better keep that one, didn't realize it was rare etc. cheers ! Jake
Hell of a nice collection, on the epiphone sg special custom shop if you haven't already check and see if the pots and wiring are like they do with the inspired by Gibson line or maybe the pickups are Gibson or it's a signature model for a really shy guitar player lol let me know what you find again very cool collection
@@wickedbishop Thanks a lot for the view and nice comment, I have never taken the sg apart yet. It would be a good video to shoot as well. thanks again . Jake
@ 4:07 that Epiphone neck is not one piece nor the headstock. The neck has a scarf joint at the head and heel cap at the heel as well as wings on the headstock so it's like 6 pieces but 8 of you include the finger board and the more for the truss rod insert.
@AuntAlnico4 i will show a video of it soon . it is one piece of wood, trust me. I do understand how they scarf necks and add wings on the headstock. that is why I piinted that guitar out etc. ty for the view and comment! Jake
Custom shop Epiphones were a limited run..I just bought a pro top plus Les Paul custom shop...great guitar..I usually don't like Epiphones...They may be a good player SG .think it's a 67 reissue you have 🎉
I have my eyes peeled for another one, they did not make that many, I sold most of my guitar collection before I came to the UK. I will bet you a dollar to a doughnut that , if you research finding another one from 2011 you will be hard pressed. I found one in Japan and it was around a grand…. Bottom line play it and don’t sell it. Can’t wait for part 2 !!!
@stevedotwood hahaha.. that's funny! my wife knows what they are worth, so some of it is allowed. I discovered a long time ago that there is a point when you have so many that she can't keep track anymore. thanks for the view and the laugh. I will shoot part 2 soon. Jake
Wonderful collection, thank you for sharing your passion. Really like your red TeleStrat a lot 🎉🎉🎉
@hankreus7196 Thanks a lot for the view and nice comment. I just posted part 2 yesterday. If you want to see the ones hanging on the walls etc.
