I am 77 years old. This song is one of the most anointed and powerful songs I have experienced in my life!! This so describes our Father - Who He is and what He does when we truly abide and rest in Him. When my life’s journey here gets rough, I listen to this song. Just a week ago, my wife survived a rollover car crash with only a few bruises. I am convinced that my Defender commissioned many angels to surround my wife and protect her. Faithful and true is our Father!!
This song pulled me through the lowest point of my life. Nothing replaces the tangible love of God our Father. He is good in every season!!
I was trying for a baby with my husband for months on months, and this song was the one that I clung to, got me through it. “Sing, sing o barren land, water is coming to the thirsty. Though you are empty, I am the well. Draw from me, I will provide.” And I told God “it’s in Your hands now, God. Whether I can’t bear children or not, I will remember that You are the well and I will draw from You regardless bc You will provide” and then my test came back positive, God is truly amazing 🥺❤
For Many Years my kids didn't understand why I always bought Rita's CDs everytime they released. Now One is on the worship team at her church and Yup, She sings Rita's songs! All 3 of them GET IT now! So Anointed! Love Love Love This song...as Usual! Blessings! 😘❤😉

People don't understand what musicians go through , although they are overly blessed with artistic ability , oftentimes it comes at a great price such as being single.... throughout the centuries great musicians have suffered much loneliness only to be married to the music . The good news is you can be married to God that will carry us through until the Lord opens the door to the right person... "Contentment" is the word .
