I am 69, as of 2021. I say this to point out that I am old enough to have heard, Simon and Garfunkel's original version on the radio and then bought the original 45 version. Ladies you did fantastic. In your own way you recreated it and more than that, you nailed it.
This rendition is historic. This video would be among the first on display if TH-cam opened an online museum of great art. It perfectly juxtaposes the two songs, one a woman's song of peace and security; the other how war ruins it all.
