brian being coached by devon is going to be overpowered
It’s going to be WILD
Could be, but the genetic freaks in armwrestling don’t always look the part. Todd Hutchings, for example, has extraordinary leverages for the sport and can smash much larger guys, but you wouldn’t call him a major prospect until you saw his results on the table. A guy like Larry Wheels can have a long hand, old results with grippers, and proven overall body strength, and heavy ped usage and underperform in the sport. Same with Andrey Smaev, who Devon used to mention as the guy with the biggest potential outside of armwrestling. Even on the practice table (especially if it’s being filmed and broadcast) you can’t really tell potential. We need to see them in a real match. Bear in mind Brian has a big name, reputation, connections, and broad social media presence, so people have an especially big incentive to hype him up and generally ingratiate themselves to him.
SHAW'S the man..
Brian's grip strength and overall strength is next level. He would sweep the field
Very exciting to find out
Clueless
how much you wanna bet
He would get swept by the lightweight guys 👌
@@Aunt_Devanif he can develop solid technique he will be the top guy on the circuit. This guy does lifts that no one else does. It’s not just a dead lift. He curls dumbbells that only a few people in the world can lift off the ground with one hand.
Devon to Brain he said on his channel he has the plane ticket now.
Amazing!!
High potential yes. But I don’t think you understand what’s professional arm wrestling is. Guys like Levan been doing this since his teens. Yes he is strong ye he could have good matches against other fellow TH-camrs. But if you talking about professional stage. Guys like Irakli will destroy Brian. Now talking about how hard it will be for him to learn and adopt the mechanics and movements at his 40s
Dude, I get what you mean. It can take a lifetime to be at that level. It’s just a very interesting topic and we are all still waiting to see who can de thrown Levan.
More nonsense, Brian is one of the strongest humans who have ever lived. These techniques are NOT that hard to learn. Its not rocket science
@@bartondean4260 Larry Wheels benches and squats more than Brian but gets rekt by the small guys 👌
Leonidas? It CAN take a lifetime. But this is someone who has competed in strength sports forever and at the end of the day that’s what armwrestling is. He will do what it takes im sure
Brian needs to be coached by the one and only John Breznk.
That would be wild!
Only problem is, Brian Shaw is in his 40's now. His best years of youth are behind him.
I agree!
He has a small window. Hes fresh. No injuries. Not your normal arm wrestler in his 40's. Also there are plenty of older world class arm wrestlers out there. I think he has an opportunity to be great. He needs to go all in though. Just enough time i believe.
Derek Smith went and trained Brian for a few days last year. Now Devon is flying there.
Wild!
This will show us the scales of raw strenght vs technique.
Very excited!
If he has the right people training him in the sport like Devon then he has a lot of potential.
Couldn’t agree any more.
5 times Worlds strongest man
Yes!!
Bryan’s huge !
Talk about it.
Brian has the potential to be a monster in the sport. There is a reason why Devon wants him to join
Dude, I agree.
wrong, he wants him to join for the publicity
@@ethanmiller4807 That is one of the reasons, yes. But he also wants him to join because he thinks that he can be great at it.
Woah! Hes the worlds strongest man aha he gon' be hella hard on competitors aha
Really enjoying these vids!
Great stuff Keanu. Idk but Devon will be training Brian too! Aha I see this duude learnin this sport REAL fast aha o.O
Idk is there a table his size? Or ... lol 👀‼
I don't know if they make tables for his size ahahahaha
Devon and Bryan has collabbed before I think. I think they might have trained, pulled a very little bit and ate hotsauce for fun.
So the two do know each other, if my memory isn't failing me here.
I believed they have a while back!
I believe he will be good when he gets experience .But right now he will not beat Levan
I agree!
Brian Shaw's a big man but levon has the experience and he is stronger. Brian Shaw
is bigger heavier but that's not going to win the match. Good luck Brian Shaw.
I agree, it would be very interesting to see the 1st practice of him vs Levan and then look a year ahead and see what the difference could be.
Stronger LMAO
Brian's numbers are staggering but to be honest, Levans lifts are way up there. I mean, not to many of these lifts I can imagine ranks especially high for Levan when training specifically för armwrestling. And no doubt Brian can be a big name in armwrestling, just look at how serious he attacks everything he puts his mind to.
I agree, it may take a very very long time. Potential is there though!
He's an athlete at highest caliber, it won't take king his joints his tendons are already strong ,from lifting his entire life ,he's crazy strong and joints to match..he'll be fine
Levan flash pins Shaw all day. Get real.
I agree with you!
imagine shaw setting up with his forearm vertical lol
Ahahahahha insane. He’s so big!
The specific ligament strength is what is missing and what takes time. If Brian Shaw takes his time at it he has a better chance. I wouldn't go right for the top, I'd take at least a year and half of competing and work my way up, if I was in his position. Armwrestling is technical and the strength is very specific muscle groups and tendons, on top of the rest. So he has the base to aim for a superheavyweight title, but not yet the development needed. He's a freak though, so who really knows where he will fit in the ranking? But a lot of the development is the actual competition and meet ups, there's some things you can't get from the gym.
We will see my man.
Brian could tip the scale at 500lbs easy !
and log at 300 for 10 is so easy for Brian , Levan cannot do that.
Would be WILD
Brian burger mister is cutting weight. so, I don't know if that will make him as much of a threat to take down levan, but do I think he has the ability to do it. heck yeah I do!
The thought of them in a match at some point is just insane.
I know Brian is Brian but he's not an arm wrestler yet. Don't hype him too much before he's even tested. I still believe one thousand percent that Devon will be the first one to beat Levan since 2017. I don't want some genetic freak to be the best arm wrestler. I want hard work and technique to win. Not a crap shoot in the womb. I hope Eddie gets serious about Arm Wrestling too and absolutely destroys Brian when they face each other after they've both trained and had a couple of matches. Pretty sure Eddie still holds the world record for deadlift. Ed ain't no slouch.
I don't believe Devon will beat Levin, just based on history and the gap between the both, yet mind the age differences and prime. However, Brian isn't a joke and should be taken seriously because with some small acute changes, he could become a threat to most people within the next couple of years
@@keanumcgillguy above is just yapping nonsensical bullshit....weird man..
Thor Bjornsonn has the deadlift record at 501 kilo
Idk if devon will ever beat levan at this point but yeah Brian is definitely getting overhyped before he pulls any matches or anything. Look what happened to Eric Spoto, Devon way overhyped him, and his first supermatch people were saying he was gonna destroy Ayello, then he lost, and because of that it seems like he lost motivation and kinda stopped. Hopefully that doesn't happen to Brian, he has great potential and we definitely want him to keep training.
Cuando Brian se enfrente a verdaderos arm wrestlers va a comprender la diferencia de ser strongman a ser arm wrestler , no es lo mismo , Levan le ganaría con muchísima facilidad
I agree!
He will be a problem for no real legitimate super heavyweight arm wrestler. Too old getting into the sport and not specialized in the right areas.he is the ultimate what if had he started at an early age. Much more money in power lifting then armwrestling.
He is old but a very intelligent man. Lots of potential.
He will never be world champion, hes too old and needs many years to catch up and no doubt he has taken alot of damage through his career. But its very interesting to see him dabble in armwrestling. He also wants to train in mma, which is also interesting.
Very interesting. I don’t know about the MMA! What ever he decides to do, he will be great at it
He might not defeat Levan, but he will destroy most North American armwrestlers💪🏼😭😅👍🏼
I will agree to that. Imagine his first tournament 😂
No he won't
Powerlifting/strongman strength is not the same as arm wrestling strength.
100%
No, but you're talking about the guy with the strongest grip on the planet combined with world strongest man lifts and record holder. He's not that far off.
@@tdement90 what does grip really do for you in arm wrestling? Larry Wheels had grips stronger than most arm wrestlers when he came in but he got rekt by Rahul Panicker who was 3 times smaller than him.
@@Aunt_Devan Brian isn’t even part of the same hemisphere when it comes to general strength to the population. This is the difference here. His mindset since he was young has been to be the best, very few people have this mindset and deck of cards given to them. Brian is a gem! Regardless if it translates or not, he would be the most likely candidate to cross over if any at all.
blah blah
Brian has more of a chance of being armwrestling champ than Levan has being worlds strongest man winner
Very good way to see it that way
🙆♂️👌👍🙂
I think Levan has too much technique. Brian can do well but he isnt the one to beat Levan. He doesnt have the time.
I get what you mean, it really depends if he goes all in the next couple years. It will take time however.
@keanumcgill yeah and he has so much on his plate already. He runs such a huge competition, media, and his shaw strength brand stuff that idk if he can get to the top in a whole other sport again. Do well? Of course beat the best? I'm not sold. Maybe if he would have done this 5 years ago.
give him a few years
100%
I think Brian and Devon need to find some younger Strongmen to start in armwrestling.
The Age of Giants is comming. Levan and Alex are the start.
I 100% couldn’t agree more.
Levan has much stronger joints than Brian! Just nonsense to believe Brian could defeat Levan.... 😖
I am not saying he will beat him, however maybe one day we could see the super match If Brian levels up quick which is starting to become less frequent these days.
If Brian devoted himself to arm wrestling, he would beat Levan.
Low chance of beating levan
As of now, I agree!
he will not even be in the top 10 lol. Just cause hes big doesnt mean anything lol
You never know!
