I'm an ironman and I liked this video because we got a shout-out for once! We are truly the unsung heroes in this game. Ironmen mode is so great. Unlike those GE peasants, we get our own stuff all by ourselves! Take a dragon med helm for example. Normie Andy's be buying their dragon med helm on the GE, but how can they be proud of that if they didn't get it from the rare drop table themselves? As soon as I got my dragon med helm though, I started getting tired of getting them time and time again as a drop from the rare drop table. Nowadays I like key halves a lot more. Key halves allow me to get dragonstones from the chest in Taverley. I am an ironman and I have to make my own glories for Abyss Runecrafting. Since I am an ironman, I do a lot of abyss runecrafting for nature runes. I always need those since I alch like there's no tomorrow to make my own gp! I can't buy gp on the black market because I'm an ironman. I need a lot of gp to train construction. And also to buy gold ores at the Blast Furnace shop to train smithing. I am an ironman and smelting gold ores is a good way to level smithing on an ironman! And smithing is an important skill to level up, because I need to get it to 99 fast so I can make myself a rune platebody so I can finally do the endgame content like barrows, which is no easy feat on an ironman! I really want to do barrows because I want that cool Guthan's beer gut for fashionscape while I'm out there skilling. It looks so silly hahah. Normie Andy's just buy their beer gut from the GE but I am an ironman so I have to drink the beer myself to get my belly as fat as Guthan's! I like to get my beer from the Blue Moon Inn. It's very cheap there, and that's great since I'm an ironman and that means gp for me is sparse, very sparse! And when I'm at the Blue Moon Inn, I hit up my old pal Dr Harlow who helped me slay Count Draynor by giving me a wooden stake. That wooden stake is pretty solid. I inspected the wood and upon closer examination, I discovered it's actually made from the same wood as the legs of the Ardougne silver stall. I instantly recognized it because I frequent that stall a lot. I am an ironman and I need silver a lot so I can make my own bracelets of slaughter! Since I'm an ironman, I can't just buy those on the GE. I suppose I could also mine the silver myself but I really hate mining. Buying the silver from the Ardougne silver merchant is much more comfy. I'll get my mining xp from the MLM, thank you very much. But MLM is also going pretty slow though with my rune pickaxe. I am an ironman, so I can't just buy a dragon pickaxe. I want to slay a wilderness boss for it but since I still don't have 99 smithing and therefore no rune platebody, I can't take on the harder bosses because a rune platebody is essential for basically ALL end-game content in this game. A rune platebody is the hugest upgrade for any ironman account; unlock that, and you pretty much unlock godmode. You can slay any boss in the game when you wear a rune platebody. And yes, yes, I know that one shifty dude in downtown Edgeville sells rune platebodies but he's wearing one of his own platebodies, and it looks like his platebodies make you look really fat. I want to have a dad bod like Guthan; I don't want to look like some kind of sumo wrestler like the Edgeville dude. So, I guess I'll have to smith my own runeplatebody that won't turn me into a sumo wrestler. But it won't be for tomorrow, and not for next week either. Hell, I'll be happy when I arrive at 99 smithing somewhere in late 2027. I am an ironman, and xp is slow for us ironmen. I am sure my fellow ironmen in this comment section know the struggle.
