@@Eleonoraswalks First thing I realised was the cleanliness. I always felt safe riding home whether it was 11 pm or 4 am. Since it was Erasmus, I was always out because there was always something to do. You would think that because it is a small city, there is nothing to do; but it isn't. The festivals, the bars, the hospitality, the night life (it is not like Groningen,but still), it is all there. I would also like everyone to know about Repelsteeltje, the best coffee shop, not only in Leeuwarden but also in Netherlands.
