The best way to understand how to pronunce "Gringe" and the joke around that is to listen to "04h41 - Greenje et Orselane" (jsut type that on youtube) which is a song they made exactly for that reason haha ^^

About the name of the band "Casseurs Flowters" :
It comes from the movie Home Alone, the "wet bandits", the 2 robber bad guys Harry and Marv, call themselves "Casseurs flotteurs" in the french version (lit. "breakers flooders" because they break everything and flood each house they hit).
There's also a wordplay with "flotteurs" and flow. In french "having flow" means being cool and stylish and/or being a good rapper - in this case it's the latter.
    And there you go 😁
Ps in exchange for my knowledge I have a request lol, if you didn't follow the Eurovision this year you should totally react to "Zitti e Buoni" by Maneskin, they're the italian rock band who won last week. It's not the usual style of music you react to on your channel but you'll probably like it because they're fckin awesome

There is a whole part of the song that you read but that isn’t in the TH-cam video (from the line about the B-side to the line with « Pinky »). It’s only in the studio version but the video (which is an extract from the movie) didn’t have that part

salut mon gars! just in case you don't know, "casseur Flowteur" came from the movie "Home alone", i don't know how old you are but i'm sure you've seen it as a kid , or not ^^, any way in the original version the bad guys, Harry and Al call themself 'the wet bandits", translate in the french version by "les casseurs flotteur" :).(and i know you like damso so you should listen 113 from booba feat Damso, not his best, very short but dems is not human on this one) nice channel fréro!! take care!

I believe the pronunciation of gringe is not at all in the english sounds, so yeah, pretty hard to explain it by writing.
But I'm sure you know how "un" (one) is pronounced in french, thats it. gringe = gr un je
EDIT : Ok, reeding my message back it's a bit confusing. Check how "singe" is pronunced on google and there you have it, much more simple.

listen at 7:33, he says "orel et gringe" (orel and gringe) prounouncing it correctly, when you put it into google translate for some reason it pronounced the "in" of "gringe" in a more english way. You know what i just tried it, just write "grainge" into google translate and it's pronounced the same way as "gringe" is intended
also when he says my gf is 15 we do weird stuff with her jumping rope, it's obviously a joke no need to take it seriously

ok so in google translate on french mode type "fin" and type on sound. take the f out of this ( not word play here) and put gr"in" and then search "je" for the last part. you'll get "gr"in"je" that's how you say it

You actually go the wrong traduction here, you're watching the movie freestyle, when the translation is actually the radio edit and the last verse is totally different ( still dope as fuck ) but i prefer the movie one, wich you didn't have the traduction for
Edit: never mind, it's just there is an extra few lines in the radio edit version

There are so many "double entendre" that's it's almost impossible to translate properly, especially to get a proper understanding of how clever their flow is. Also, you have to understand the concept of the casseur flowteurs : self deprecating loosers being over the top in the ego trip style.
