Anyone who has seen even like 1/4th of RWBY knows she isn't homophobic and I'm well aware that RWBY is not homophobic but was actually stressed. I found the timing of her snapping funny and put this together. This meme is in no way supposed to be a substitute for taking in the show or my serious thoughts about the show. Can we talk about HOW Blake and Yang got together? Because that is the most forced method of getting together, regardless of how well planned the pairing was since day one of writing the concept for the script. And it’s not about not liking Bumbleby, it’s about the fact that they had to go to another dimension, be locked in a “room” and told they couldn’t come out without being together romantically. I don’t care how amazing a pairing is written; if their get together scene is THAT, then they need to not be together because that is super toxic and grounds for a super nasty breakup. And I feared this would have happened since She-Ra had Adora and Catra get together in a similarly forced way. And I actually shipped those two!!

I don’t know if enough fans made such a criticism, or one of the crew noticed that and brought it up, but they tried to write it where it felt natural, but… turns out forcing a couple already naturally written to be together doesn’t work out like you think it does. TLDR: you’re right, but they probably had a point to prove and failed in the way they proved it.
It WAS a forced paring though. It was never the intention of rooster teeth, they just caved to the toxic fandom. They had a whole arc set up for Blake and Sun which now goes nowhere because of the fandom. What makes it worse is how much they then undermined Yangs character with her apparently not caring about Ruby for multiple seasons because she was busy being doe eyed at Blake

i know there was these dumb memes that stemmed from V8/9 But, when you really notice it Ruby was going through a lot even hinting back towards 3-6, that her role as leader was sapping all of her strength, to be strong for everyone but nobody in her eyes at that moment was strong and there for her when she needed it the most. (Haven't watched these two volumes, but when you know a character or persons' pain, and feel it. before anything is said or done, it makes them most relateable, and much more deserving of a hug and reasurance.) _she wants to protect everyone she cares for, kinda like her mom in a sense but since she can't physically do that it weighs heavily in other manners, like she loves and values her sister, their love life, her team, and the knowledge of all of that could be ripped away at a moments notice is soul crushing, due to the fact possible hc/realism we never want to lose anyone in our lives family, friends, or otherwise because of some disruptive nature(like Salem)._

Ruby Wasn't prejudice towards her sister and blake she just was done with everyones unnecessary drama . Blake lost her flare and her purpose litterally in the story and so did Yang . Yang half of the time doesnt really show much affection towards any other character BUT blake . At this point the writing went so sideways they forgot Sun and Blake had chemistry when he left .
Anyways, Sun always was irrelevant, he just exist for be a complement for Blake but he didn't do anything for himself. Literally any other character could takes his place and we have the same result
