Hi, it's a lovely tutorial but I just wanted to ask you a question. I am at 7:04 when you are extruding the "hat" of the lamp" and I don't understand how you do it because when I do my extrude it's a normal extrude but you seem to have 3 cut loops and the form seems round.

Yes, before extruding I used the Subdivision Surface modifier and then I created certain edges with SHIFT + E
