In this clip, Sinbad spoke with Luenell about his time on Celebrity Apprentice which was hosted by 45. Sinbad says Trump has always been a con artist but noted that his racism was hidden by the fact that he associated with black celebrities so much. He also brought up the fact that the ambitions of Trump's presidential weren't aiming at the taking the Oval Office. According to Sinbad, the campaign was seen as a way to shake up the Republican party but we see how that turned out.

Yes I saw his OWN interview waaay back in 2012 and I didn't even think about it until Trump ran for president. I thought Sinbad was just being a hater. He saw all of this a decade ago and spoke on it very loudly and we weren't listening. I feel like I owe Sinbad an apology.

I thought I’d Never say this, but Sinbad has got a point. When people say that things have gotten better, the bar is set low for what the standard is, so of course it would get better. Damn. Sinbad got me.
I forget the Spike Lee movie, but I think it was, "Do The Right Thing" where there was a scene where the white supremacist sons of the pizza shop owner were talking about how they hate black people. Spike Lee's character says something to the effect of, "but look at the entertainers that you worship.............Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Prince, etc." Their response was what A LOT of non-Foundational Black American's feel, "Yeah, but they're not really 'black'...........like, they're bigger than black, better than 'black'."
On any given Sunday in America, white people are painted up, wearing costumes, screaming, shouting, cheering, and spending MULTIPLE millions of dollars on game tickets, alcohol, season tickets, memorabilia, etc. etc. Drooling on themselves and acting like school girls to get an autograph next to the same guy, they would not be wild about living in the same zip code with, IF that person wasn't a "star" athlete or entertainer. I wonder how much Corporate America spends cumulatively, every year on luxury boxes and corporate sponsorships, just for North American sports alone.

Additionally, it's downright scary how ill-informed and "out of touch" A LOT of these so-called, "celebrities are. They're insulated, isolated, and some, downright ignorant. SHAME on any adult Foundational Black American male who was not familiar with Donald Trump having taken out a FULL-PAGE ad in the NY Times back in 1989-1990, calling for the death penalty for the 5 (BLACK) males (several, if not all of whom were minors at the time), who were wrongfully arrested, convicted, and imprisoned for the sexual assault of a jogger in Central Park......................that a Hispanic male named, Mattias Reyes later CONFESSED to. So, it's VERY difficult to listen to these black millionaires talking about how they were "fooled" by Donald Trump and who he is and has ALWAYS presented himself to be.
