Gorgeous kitchen design, I can absolutely imagine you with a terracotta floor. For some reason it reminds me of the Farm, I think it will be so cosy and probably easier to clean than a wooden kitchen floor.
I love interior design and i'm actually doing my postgrad on interiors, i'm so invested in these series, i think you two have incredible taste, i'm so excited to see everything come to life!
hey jess! i’ve watched you for years and it’s crazy to me that you came to loughborough because it’s where i’m from!! the devol hq is literally 10 minutes from where i used to live. i remember sitting in my bedroom watching your style vids, i was obsessed with your blue sequin topshop crop top you showed in a holiday lookbook (i think you were in italy). i’ve never commented before but i was so excited to see you in my hometown! best of luck with your kitchen/ home renovations, i’m looking forward to following your progress! and enjoy your holiday in the US ☺️
It looks like it is going to be a stunning kitchen! Also I know it is weird but if a kitchen has terracota floor it makes me think the food is tastier LOL.
Hopefully this is helpful… it’s rare to get a glazed terracotta tile, 99% of the time it’s just been sealed. Most that you see as raw will change colour slightly when sealed (to prevent those oil marks) and you can you a colour enhancer sealant too if you want to exaggerate a colour. You will need to reseal them every 6-12 months in a kitchen so it’s quite a lot of work just to warn you! I work for a tile company lol
