    17:08 I had no idea pulse dialing was still possible with a converter. I assumed it was phased out a decade or so ago when rotary dialing out ceased working (though receiving calls has always remained in support since.)

      Our fibre optic system supports pulse dialing.

    • @St0rmcrash
      @St0rmcrash 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Some voip adapters like the Grandstream HT801/802 natively support pulse dialing, though most like the Obi don't. For those you can get an external device like the Dialgizmo that sits between your phone and the voip adapter and does pulse to tone conversion. The Xlink BTTN also does pulse to tone conversion and also can act as a bluetooth device to use a rotary/landline phone as a bluetooth handset for your cell phone, though many phone collectors will just plug their voip adapter into the landline port to just use it for pule tone conversion and ignore the bluetooth

    • @gammaboost
      @gammaboost 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As an Aussie, usually I would say "wardrobe" but sometimes I might say "closet", however with the influence of other countries it is also sometimes common to hear "cupboard", though that might just be in movies / TV / videos. Personally I think "Wardrobe" should be used when it is in a bedroom and holds some clothes while "cupboard" is when it is not in a bedroom. I still can't get over a closet being a whole dang room, I think only wardrobes should be able to do that.
