    An that's why I bought mine at blade show this year,got to see Craig Roost there hear him explain about my Hudson Bay camp axe redesign, I'm now getting the wood crafter big axe with the sling style sheath like yours, I do love how ridiculous sharp mine is when I got an still is,it's a great splitter, I do like the flying fox too,on mine the head is 2lbs,5160 spring steel

      This longhandled woodcraft pack axe is probably my ALL TIME FAVORITE Axe. I LOVE it!

      @@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors ,I don't blame you, I've see what it's capable an with a person's skill level,super kool looking too,yep I definitely want one,not that I don't like the Hudson Bay camp axe from council tool, it's my premium, but I'd love to have a longer handle axe,it'd make splitting rounds easier an not break my back since I'm right at 6ft. I believe that if I were knelt down for a short period of time it's great,chops well an splits,I can even do feathers an swapping with how sharp my edge is,I did just strop it for a moment, made it even sharper

    I am a MAJOR Tomahawk/Axe junkie...have well over 200. I use 4-5" bit, 19-24" types the most...the Hardened Hammer Poll on this axe IS AWESOME!! Great design!___Thank you for sharing!

    Good review, I have a question, are you left handed ? The reason I ask is that you wear your watch on the right wrist and use your right hand on top of the handle. There were a couple of blows when you were felling the tree that seemed to give the impression that you weren't in total control of the axe and you'd be able to achieve this by switching hands on the handle. In your case, I would try left hand on top. It isn't a question of strength, it's a matter of having your dominant hand on top which instinctively creates more control. Even if you aren't left handed, it's something worth trying. We all have a hand that is more tactile and responsive than the other.

    I just bought the 19 version. I chose thise over a Gransfors because both ends of the head are Hardened and I can use this Axe for anything! I am in the process of polishing My edge with a pocket stone . I have been at it for about 4 hours. I bought this Axe because I need a Tool that I can put My Life on! after owning Gransfors and seeing this Axe beside a Gransfors ,This is an Absolute Brut.....great Video, if You want The Best You can get to carry on a Pack, this Made in The U.S.A Axe is the one People!! 49 years old with many years experience in firewood splitting ,chopping etc. and only Own The Best I can get when it comes to Gear! God Bless...

    Revisited this video. I finally got one! I have nine axes most are “ budget axes” the council tools pack axe is the only one I spent over $ 100 dollars for! Absolutely no buyer’s remorse! My Husqvarma multipurpose axe and this one are my favorites good video man.

    Great little video man. That's what I've been wanting to see, someone really using the damn thing not making an infomercial!

      That was the goal! Sadly, informercials are what most people want to see. Lol!

    I just ordered this 24” axe from Dave Canterbury’s store. I selected sharpen the axe. I wonder what kind of edge modification they do there. I can attest to Baryonyx knife co. special grade modification.

    What sheath/sling are you using?

    • @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors
      @Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the factory council tool axe mask and a beachin tactical baldric sling with axe addition

    Great little axe. I want one. I don't " neeed " one, but I want one. Already have 2 Granfors and a Wetterlings. Fk it, I'm getting it. Just decided. Who doesn't need 4 axes ? Also, enjoying my Beachin sling, very well made and works perfectly. Cheers.

      @@Thepreppersbunkeroutdoors Well when the balloon goes up and the shit has hit the fan you know you're gonna have to loan one to your buddy whose thought to prepping consists entirely of picking up a sixer and quarter pounder on the way to the bunker, then he's gonna taco that fucker up hitting into nails and rocks in the ground ( that's what the wetterlings is for...nobody gets me Gransfors ). Then you'll lose another one at some point in the ruckus which will leave me with two....one for bizness and a nice backup. That's how I just talked myself into a 4th axe....the human mind is an amazing thing, LOL.

      Hahahahaha thats awesome! It makes more sense than my axe collection... which consists mostly of "i think this classic axe pattern is really cool!... i want one" LOL! My collection consists of classic axes and council tools.
