Osmanbey and Nişantaşı today is an elite shopping district and residential area on the European side of Istanbul.

I was born in an apartment on that street. No shops, no stores, just 2-3 floor houses, on both sides, one after the other. Its higher end reached Osmanbey and its lower end reached Nişantaşı, through Rumeli Caddesi. Those were the days!
