"Philippine Railways" is a brand-new miniseries as part of the larger Philippine Cities in Cities: Skylines, featuring the railway infrastructure projects of the country, both completed and under construction.
In this first installment, is the Angeles-Clark segment of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) of the Philippine National Railways (PNR), which contains three stations and one depot.
Due to the length of the railway line, which is 91 kilometers (57 miles), while each in-game map is only 17.28 square kilometers, this project will be split into multiple segments, and will conclude in a final cinematic containing all segments in one video.
The name for the "Airport Limited Express" is only a temporary designation, the final name for the service is yet to be determined, and could change in the future. Additionally, the trains used are the E353 series EMUs, as suggested preliminary designs showed resemblance to them, but it could also change in the future when the actual trainsets are constructed.
    Contents of the video (timestamps):
    0:00 NSCR Commuter
    3:15 NSCR "Airport Limited Express"
    5:08 End screen

This NSCR train is the same as us in Jakarta,Indonesia, namely the KRL Jabodetabek, which began operating in 1970 with a route of 418 km. We hope that the construction of this train will be completed

The origins of the NSCR dates back as early as 1978, when two experts from the Japanese National Railways were sent to conduct the study regarding the electrification of the PNR railway. First proposed as the "Manila-Clark rapid railway" in 1994, but later cancelled in 1998 after both the Philippine and Spanish governments disagreed on the source of funding. The project was revived in 2002 as the "NorthRail" project, but it was cancelled again in 2011 due to allegations of overpricing and corruption. The current NSCR began development in 2013, and actual construction began in 2019.
