I believe it’s because we go from having our own life to a life revolving around a child especially at such a young age plus a spouse. That’s why it’s so important to have me time, date nights, and also taking your baby out during the day it’ll help both you and baby (: mommy guilt is so real but remembering that there’s a balance. In order to be a good mom/parent you have to be take care of yourself too

I find Elijah and you making it work no matter what happens. You honestly never give yourself enough credit . Your one of the hardest working gal I've ever seen. Be proud of all your accomplishments.

sahm here! very normal to feel how you have been, don't overthink and think you have a disorder. The loop of living the exact same day over and over is overwhelming sometimes. I think talking to a therapist would be really helpful to make sure it doesn't get any worse. Sending love and support! You are an amazing person :)

I feel you with the routine over and over every day. I always want to visit a hotel once in a while my husband kinda gets mad because I like hotels and he doesn’t really that much. Just tired of the same routine of being a mom lol And I love traveling
I’m a stay at home mom too. I’m 17 with an 8 month old daughter. I definitely relate to the burnout, mom guilt and partner not understanding the mom guilt. But you’re doing an amazing job. The mental load of being a mom isn’t easy, but by the looks of it you’re raising a beautiful intelligent daughter :)
Girl I have a 2 year old girl and have never had a girls night out or gone out with friends unless I’ve necessarily had to. I have severe mom guilt too. I feel I have to be with her every moment of the day and night. You’re not alone. We love our babies 💖 I sometimes wish I would give myself a break though but probably won’t happen lol 😂
You should not feel guilty for living your life. You are there every other moment, a day or two once or twice a month will not do damage to her. It’s something you can look forward to, work toward and enjoy the moments in. She will not be mad if she gets older and this continues because you are showing her that a healthy balance is necessary in life cause like you said you’ve been depressed. Choose happiness and so will she as she grows.
I think it’s normal for a first time mommy to feel that guilt, but let me tell ya once you have your 2nd baby your gonna be like “later” lmfao jk but it will be easier because you’ll want that time away for you. Have alone time with your husband ❤️don’t forget each other ❤️

Girl I understand I’m a young stay at home mom and it’s rough! Plus I having anxiety going out without my husband as well and then when I do leave my son it’s rough and he’s seven months and he’s breast-fed baby so that adds more stress. And it’s always like oh am I teaching him enough is he learning things. It’s definitely a full-time hard job but it’s completely worth it but definitely putting mental health and your Health will help your baby but I’m in the same boat. Keep going, The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world.
