You can only turn on catalog ads on the campaign. You choose which product set in the adset, and the product you want to advertise on the ad level. Let me know if this helps.
@@lucaskeeler This isn't true. You can just make a catalog ad by choosing that on the ad level, instead of using a dedicated catalog campaign. The difference between the two, I have no idea, I reckon they do the exact same thing.
@@madshansen1118 they do the only difference is that if you choose catalog ads on the campaign level you can’t run any static or video ads in that campaign. Versus the adset level you can control all of your spend between your adsets under one campaign.
When you are using product sets and carousel ads, how does FB know what page to take the user to when they click on one of the cards? Is that established when you set up the catalog? Also, why does FB ask for a website URL under "Destination" when you are using catalog ads when it's obvious that users who click need to go to that product page?
It asks for the destination if you are running shop and website as your conversion, but that shouldn't happen when running catalog ads. Facebook AI choose where to take the user based off what product it showed them from your catalog and takes them to that page on the shop.
hello, Your video is great, but I don't know why there are only 6 products in the gallery? Where can I change it? I uploaded 20 articles in the catalog. Only 6 products are always visible in the ad. Thanks your answer
@@lucaskeeler yes, I use shopify and it connects all my products, but there are only 6 products in the ad, not 20 products. I added 20 products to the catalog. I have made several catalogs on Facebook, some of which have 20, some of which have 50, but they always only give 6 products in the ad column.
We have seen pretty good numbers so far, especially with the clothing brand we work. We run it as retargeting to people who have already seen our Video ads or any first point of contact. Just so they see the catalog after they already have seen the brand.
please i dont wanna use cataloges how can i change that its the only ways showeing in my facebook manager i just wanna run a normal video with whatsapp conversion

Awesome, super clear video. Thank you !
What is the difference between running catalog sales on campaign and ad level?

Hey, thanks for the tutorial great vid. How about the 'deep link' option, do you use that ?
How do not use the deep link option.
whats better retargeting or prospective type for audiences to make the most sales
I would do both, if you have a bunch of people coming into your site everymoth. 3,000+ do retargeting. If not do prospective type.
Hi Lucas, do you find that advantage+ catalog ads are effective for clothing brands?
I do yes

Don't understand this question but if you are using shopify, Facebook shop will automatically link all of your products.

What type of numbers are you doing with this strategy

How do i give each catalog item a dynamic website link for each product when creating the retargeting catalog campaign?
Facebook should automatically do it, if your catalog is running off shopify.
What if I don't have a website, can I still add products to catalog
You should be able to. But I recommend having a site.
Hey! Are Meta Catalog Ads and Advantage+ Catalog Ads the same thing?
No they are not!

You need to change it in the adset level or campaign level. You can't change it on the ad level.
