Some people say that most of performance on Fortnite depends on the cpu not the gpu (like a mid range gpu and a higer GPU won't make any big difference)so is that true?
hey I got the same card with ryzen 7600 and Im getting alot of microstutters in performance mode, game is much smoother in dx12. I read its a common issue with amd cards but your games seems to be very smooth in performance. Any tips how to fix that ?
@@Shun434 to be fair I do have one of the best gaming cpus which eliminates most stutters. I did use a r5 7600 and it did have some stutters, I guess the only way is dx12 idk 🤷♂️
For Fortnite should I get a ryzen 7 7700x 4060 ti and 16fb ddr5 for £1100 or a ryzen 7 7800x3d and 7800xt 16gb ddr5 for £1500 if I wanted to play on performance mode.
it depends, what monitor and hz will you want to play on? If you truly want the best experience with 240 hz go for the 7800x3d, the 7700x will still be perfectly fine in my opinion.
@@Mxgicfv yeah probably. Do you think i ever should upgrade my cpu? i built my pc in last october but i don't think the right time is rn, maybe like 2 years later that would be a good time?
your cpu is unfortunately starting to show it's age, the 9900k is great for productivity and other games, but fortnite is very poorly optimized and requires more modern cpus. I suggest upgrading to a completely new platform. You have the best cpu for lga 1151, def upgrade to am5.
@Mxgicfv i wil be upgrading to am5 when i save up some money. Ive been using directx12 and doing all the possible tweaks inside windows, overclocking for max performance. Now it seems like i'm getting pretty stable 200👍
@@HitmiAlHitmi for this game specifically since it’s very cpu dependent, using a better gpu won’t make much of a difference. I could be using a 4060 and be getting very close fps

How do you afford so many pcs?
@Ahmed-ub4jf I don’t keep all of them, I build pcs and sell them. To test them I just play Fortnite and upload a benchmark to yt

Will it stutter with the 7800xt and if tweaked a bit do you think the 7700x can get 360 in game or will I have to play on 240
@@MrPayaam it will be hard for 7700x to run on 360, the 7800x3d+7800xt will have little to no stutters

no, all stock
