So I have a pool of about 5 games that are always shuffling around for position of my all-time favorite game, and TTYD is absolutely among them. Just rewatching these bosses, it’s so clear to me that a fine coat of passion and quality were blended with unique and creative ideas was so meticulously spread across this entire package. I can quite literally remember EVERY boss, chapter, location, scenario- ANYTHING about this game, and I attribute that to it being an experience built with a love and enthusiasm craftsmanship. Absolutely masterclass in game design.
What are the other 4? I’m almost certain bowser’s inside story must be in there cause it’s the best rpg of all time.

Also the Doopliss Mario looks like it's more slouched forward, as well as the arms
and he looks like he has back pain

Just finished this game at 20... I had first played it when I was 7 but my gamecube broke and I never got to finish it...the feels man :)

When I was younger I played through the game, and when I reached the part to transition to chapter 4, I didn't see the opening to get to the person that lets you enter chapter 4, so I just kept going around killing enemies. By the time I actually found the person, I had 95 hp because that was the only thing I upgraded.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I was also using the guide book. Sad, isn't it?

I did something similar except it was with the first Chapter. My dumb 9 year old head couldn't figure out how to activate the pipe to Hooktail's castle for nearly a year. And when i figured it out i felt dumb but I was much stronger
Chapter 4 was DooPliss or Gruba? I can’t remember and my Wii doesn’t work anymore.
Is it me, or has TTYD become more popular recently? If so, I hope this could prove once more to Nintendo how much we love this game and how much we DESPERATELY need a remaster or maybe even a simple port.

the rainbow mario man while I do love TTYD and acknowledge it as the best in the series, I actually do like the games that came after it. Super Paper Mario is my personal favorite, and despite their flaws, I like Sticker Star, Color Splash, and Origami King (so far). The main reason I want TTYD on Switch is because I used to have it, but my dad accidentally got rid of it before I could beat it (honestly, I wasn’t making any progress against the Shadow Queen), and I want the chance to play it again. I kind of rushed through it the first time, so maybe I wasn’t able to appreciate it’s greatness to its fullest. Thanks for taking the time to read all this.

People, see his description in the Nintendo eshop, it's appears not to be that all, it's appears to not have a rpg battle mechanics, but have more original characters than sticker star and color splash, it's story appears to be good, but the rpg battle mechanics not coming back, it's makes me Sad but okay then.
P.s: probably, the partner's mechanics gonna come back, and I like it.

If you think about it thousand year door and Smash Bros Melee are very similar both are the second game in the series and people say those two are the best in the series
_ D0ct0r _ less for melee than ttyd though... would hardly say melee is the best, cause of how janky it all is. I feel ultimate is better, less bugs, smoother gameplay, and more variety.

Because it's not like there was ANYTHING cool about the body switch plot twist, Vivian's redemption, the décor of Twilight Town, the countless goodies in Creepy Steeple, the awesome rolling tube ability, or the chance to get to finally fight your own allies. That was all TERRIBLE, and not enjoyable AT ALL.

Dear Nintendo, I have been a fan of your games since Super Mario 64. I really enjoyed Paper Mario for Nintendo 64 and even more Paper Mario TTYD. I wish there was a remaster made of it for the Switch, so that I can play it again. Searching for it for Gamecube is not only difficult, but it's also DAMN expensive (I've seen prices hovering around 250-300$). So kindly me and all the fans of this legendary game, we ask you to make a version for Switch. Thank you.

Is it normal that they only deal about 1 to 2 damage per attack to mario per turn? it seems a bit off, considering how much damage he deals per turn but I don´t know, I never played
also how come Doopliss cannot damage Mario, there is so much I don´t understand yet
Some bosses can deal up to 7-ish DMG.Doopliss can´t hit Mario for I guess he is inexperienced in Mario form
