Thing is, this kid could literally snap like most of these people's arms if he wanted to, in an arm wrestle. But he obviously has to be so careful which may look like he's 'struggling' at times, cos he basically has to abandon like 90% of his actual technique. There’s “a lot” of people who have that arm wrestling strength. My buddy Chris, in high school at 15-16 years old, could beat men (any age) twice his size, every time. It was pretty amazing. This kid has that too. But in abundance. If this was continuous all in one day, one after the other. Than this kid is beyond that “arm wrestling strength”. Playing with people, going up and down and not getting burnt out. That’s crazy amazing!

Arm wrestling is mostly a mental game. I used to beat this guy in highschool that was part of the weightlifting team, consistently every single time despite being outweighed over 100 lbs and several inches of arm size. He convinced himself that he was going to lose something he should have and could have won everytime before it even started. The rest is just doing exactly what this kid is doing - locking your arm into position long enough to let the other guy convince himself of what he went into that match believing anyway and when he gasses out you end it and it seems effortless because he spent all his energy already.
(Note: that particular individual is actually one of the nicest people you could hope to meet and on the offhand chance he happens to read this - respect and vibes old friend. One love)

It's because of how the technique works, if you lose a little bit of leverage against someone that is strong but has poor technique they will likely be able to beat you, against a less strong opponent you have more wiggle room in letting your opponent get a better start than you.
