This is pure Pen kalamkari, hand drawn and hand painted so for pure work fabric should be good enough other wise that work will not possible. I don't know the name of the silk ma'am and never thought to ask my artist because ma'am actually it is irrelevant. In the market apart from the pure silk lots of verities are available. People just use the popular name which actually known and easy to introduce without knowing the originality. If these are pure silk and I am giving the silkmark too then just one word I'll give you the answer ma'am. And by the way there is no Bangalore silk as such ma'am, these are all market gimmick.
