      Huge props to giving credit to the OG finder of the method. Makes me like the channel even more.
      I already saw his guide, but I’m watching this video just to support the channel. Sometimes I also think it’s OK for different channels to post each other’s content on guides like this because it helps shout out all the creators in the community as long as you give credit. It helps with collaborations on finding new fast ways to do things , and to be honest not everyone to subscribe to both of you guys on the TH-cam platform so some of us may never found the other video.

    You don't have to walk back to your ship to unload cargo. If you're within 250m you can open the ship screen on your menu, then open the cargo hold, and transfer your items through this menu. Should save you some time!

      with this outpost farm, you usually exceed the weight limot of even the largest cargo holds since it takes like several thousand of these crafted items to clear out a vendors money as they are quite cheap, while also weighing a good amount. So no point in opening the menu usually,

    I was like you and never wanted to do the whole outpost thing. Happen to see Vash's video and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever! Outside of finding the "sweet" spot(took forever lol), it is heaven. I can't believe how simple it was to do. You can level all the way up if you want, or like me..I do about 10 levels at a time. Then go run around the galaxy for a bit to break up the monotony. I went from level 27 to level 62 in no time at all, and that's with taking things slow. I have so many storage containers now that I really can't run out of material. Only suggestion is be mindful of where you put the extractors. It can limit space when you want to add more extractors or storage containers.

    On the landing zone: some people's games will load Platinum instead of iron or aluminum, which is annoying as hell since that's the most important combo for this build. for those struggling to find this, i was trying to line up the 3 black specs on the landing triangle but I was zoomed in one more level than on this video, i zoomed out one click and that helped me find the spot with the 3 locations right next to each other by one pixel. lined up the bluish white line top right diagonal and the black dot on the upper left triangle. and then found all 3 desert, mountain, hills in 3 adjacent pixels. landing location in this video - I see unknown (pi symbol) 404 m NE of my landing location and a second unknown is 783m almost due south from my landing spot very close to where this video starts and shows the black mountain. If you keep landing next to a facility and have a ship land near you, i believe you are too far NW.

    Trade Authority on The Den in Wolf system has TWO vendors, one NPC behind the counter with 11,000 credits and a Kiosk with 5,000 credits. And they’re only a few steps away from your ship vs having to run to a store vendor. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Use them instead. Wolf has no scanning for contraband either, so you’re safe to enter 100% of the time.

    As I replied in the initial guide (glad you credit it properly!) the iron isn't really important as there is TONS of iron easily farmed in the meteors orbiting the moon that we use! All you gotta do is blow up a meteor and it'll leave 4 to 9 iron possibly along with rarer materials as well. in 20 minutes, using pretty potent weapons I'll admit :| but basically anything put in a 3 or 4x pattern will due... default weapons layout will be slower but still totally viable, so in 20 minutes of easy 'see rock shoot rock than gather resources' I ended up with over 500 iron and dozens of rarer resources like palladium, gold and iridium etc.!
    Basically I found an outpost location without iron (but ALUMINUM is a MUST! I hear cobalt and nickel becomes very important to have too) and trying to justify it :D.

  • @privateh2306

    As per video top left of the iron resource in the planet scan and but directly north and a little closer to the little Nickel scan. The three biomes, mountains, hills and rocky desert are a next to each other, and you must hit the mountain one to land as you land on a small plateau. If you depart from the front of your ship it is the black hill just to your left that you see the top of, and the colour is unique in the area. You head to the base of the hill slope on the right. The outpost will size slightly smaller as the slope of the hill will restrict the build capability but you can place a lot of wind turbines here but using camera and mouse rotate. Save before placing the actual beacon, use the light grey area in the video for placement identification. You should be looking for enough resource field to place 5/6 iron extractors (not the one available in the video) and 6/7 aluminium. Rocks may prevent you placing some extractors optimally but you can sometimes remove these by placing the wind turbine in the middle of the rocks to remove them. This will limit you to 2/3 cobalt but that is ok. You should note that the resource field for cobalt does expand outside of the visible field at the bottom edge of the hill slope. I can normally place my first cobalt extractor away from the edge of that field. This is important as they have a larger resource field area and it limits the number you can have. Look to have the lowest 90degree of the cobalt field just touching the outpost border and then place your first extractor outside the field as close to the corner as you can.

    I found the spot on my first try. Not only did I find the correct location, but I got so close that my ship actually landed in the area where you placed your beacon.
    Edit: Nevermind. I though it was the right place, but nope. In fact, I can't find the right place. I am moving literally one pixel per movement, and I am picking the pixel on which mountains, hills and rocky desert converge, and it's still not the right spot.

      @MickeySpoonK ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ujayet You have a chance of getting a different world generation. I spent 5hrs scouting the planet... the spot wasn't the same. If you land and you feel like you're in the exact same spot but some material aren't available in the scan, RELOAD A SAVE to the point before you ever landed on the planet. If the save is after the first landing, its no good. Other comments have said it took 4 reloads, for me it took just 1. It isn't patched out, it could be 'the other side of mountain', but some folks will have the issue I had.

    Wow, this has saved my literally hours, thanks for the in-depth walkthrough! One thing that puzzles me is the 'Mature" rating of this game? In a world where kids have long since figured out how to play GTA while they're parents aren't looking, the world of Starfield is surprisingly tame. Your companion (male or female, minus Vasco) has absolutely zero physical interactions with you (embrace, kiss, ect) yet, your considering marriage in a few hours of play. If its Sarah, she keeps asking to "get a drink sometime" and that's apparently impossible. And even Neon, which I assume is Starfield's version of Sin City, seems completely devoid of it, save a few vague references, or when your companion wakes from sleep if you're committed. Even the Pirates are incapable of profanity, ya know...when they're 'pirating' and all.
    Beautiful game with an immersive story but in a world of COD, Red Dead, Mass Effect, this Universe is shockingly well behaved.
