@@srimanoj7847 The planets momentum technically wants to make them travel off in a straight line. The sun’s gravity is what pulls them towards the it and into its orbit. That's why plants travel in elliptical orbit rather than circular one. To be simple, Planets are trying to move away from sun but stuck in its gravity.
