I listen to Waters and I feel I'm listening to the last sane man in Ireland. He simply stands there and tells the truth, and it seems shocking, because of the depths to which all other public discourse in Ireland has sunk.

John Waters is nobody's fool. he has brains to burn and uses his education to teach others the real facts of what's going on in this country. wishing him every success in his endeavours for decades to come.

Unfortunately, as Waters states in his lecture, the leaders who dreamed of, and died for, an independent Ireland never saw its realisation. Those who actually governed the Free State in its early decades were not of the same calibre. Ireland became a client state of its former oppressor, Britain.
De Valera tried to break that dependency during the 1930s but he lacked the courage of his erstwhile revolutionary comrades. The form of Sinn Fein economics he preached was a caricature of the vision espoused by Pearse. Indeed had he emulated the one good decision made by Cumann na nGaedheal, the Shannon hydroelectric scheme, he might have built up the economy without compromising national sovereignty. No wonder that, in his twilight years, he was sidelined by Lemass and Whitaker as Ireland put itself on the market for a new patron.
Almost exactly fifty years after we voted for the Free State Constitution, Ireland voted to subordinate de Valera's 1937 constitution to the Treaty of Rome. It is difficult to see where we in 2018 can find the leaders we need to take Ireland out of the grip of unelected bureaucrats and restore not only our freedom but our dignity as a nation.

    • @paulcunningham9081
      @paulcunningham9081 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Exactly. The people who would have made Ireland great like Pearse, Connolly and the others all died and we were next governed by corrupt clueless morons in comparison that since that day until this and in league with the Catholic church proved to be totally corrupt and jointly far worse oppressors of the Irish people than the English ever were. Sure De Valera was the one that set Micheal Collins up to be ambushed and shot dead. God help us all here.

"late 50's early 60's, something happened to Ireland" - Ireland received none of the ww2 reparations that Germany and France were receiving. some American arrived here maybe late 1950s, he said "produce more, or consume less" - was this then when the 4 children policy started? and from at least early 1960s it was well understood that this was "to be a rich man's island". 'Noiz'? had arrived?

We replaced London with Rome and then Rome was replaced with Brussels. Ireland has never know freedom, we are a vassal state in the grip of international finance capital (the tribe) Globalist multinational corporations and wokist revolutionaries.

Someday (Lord hasten it!) the world will wake up to the terrible crimes it has committed against the weak, the poor, the helpless, the unborn. All of which is to say crimes against God in whose image these classes are created. On that day, John Waters will be held up as a great hero, and speeches such as this will be taught in every school in every country of the world. But for now he bears the shame of the prophet, the mouthpiece of God, the Savior of the world. Those who welcome him now, shall share in the glory and honor of the prophet when truth, righteousness and justice are restored.

Absolutely.. His views are widely derided. Personally, I think he's an excellent example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. His ultra right-wing religious stance makes him stand out like sore thumb as being completely out of touch with the Irish people and reality in general. This guys views have been left so far behind, he's in danger of being caught from the rear.

For anybody living in an urban area, I'd be finding a way to move to the countryside if at all possible, if the globalists get their way with the 2040 plan etc, then the cities will be divided into rich and poor and the poor part will be hellish.

    • @jackemeraldo5832

westwizard Its all part of the UNs Aggenda 21. Mass depopulation, Megacities, Billions of lost jobs through Automation. Ireland 2040 will be highly damaging to Ireland and indeed the world. As i always say...Whats wrong with Ireland being Irish?! Answer... not a damn thing.
In 20 years time, the irish will be the minority.

Patrick Henry Pearse was a tribalist and his mystical language was typical of all the tribalists of the period. The Balkans were full of them. All of Europe was full of them. They brought us to even bigger disasters than the royal pricks that had tried to solve the chimp problem with realms. Obviously, he is not speaking to social justice or systems of governance. He is speaking to an ethnic identity with no clear genetic basis. It is no more real than Manchester united versus Manchester city. But it is an identity worth fighting and dying for. An identity that in fact is just the last coat of paint.
All of our families are about 250k years old. “Irish” is less than 5k. So, for 245k of your family’s history they never heard of Irish or Patrick Henry Pearse” bullshit.

I stand by what I say: John Waters represents an Ireland that is dead and gone. His opinions are an anathema to any forward thinking person and all he ever really does is blame others for his oh so bleedin' heart precious woes.
Personally, I feel sorry for the guy. The social conservatism that he holds so dear has been trashed to bits by the vast majority of the people of Ireland, you only have to look at the margins in the latest two referenda to see how Abortion and Blasphemy are perceived by the Irish people. It must be hard to see something into which you've invested so much, destroyed.
But his opinions? They are like farts in the breeze; temporarily unpleasant but blown away by the winds of change leaving only a memory of their toxicity.
Now you either have an argument to make against what I've said or you don't. If it's the latter, you just got mic-dropped.
