Been into Buicks for decades, & own a '70 Stage 1 4-sp & never knew where "Stage 1" came from. The '70 GSX colors were "Saturn Yellow" & "Apollo White" which also came from the space program.

I owned a ‘69 GS 400…( non Stage 1 ), and a ‘68 Olds 442…(non W-30 ). Both excellent performers. When America was building awesome cars with tons of personality.

67 GS 400 S1 is my favorite. GSX used to be my favorite, but nothing can beat riding in style with a bunch of HP on tap.

Since day 1 when they were presented to the public, I've always loved the subtelness of the Buick GS's & GSX's. The one I owned was one of the top 3 best muscles cars I've ever had (22 in total) and I miss it very very much!!! Awesome presentation here. Yet..... no mention of asking price!?
