Thanks for this great video I got almost the crisp of the PD I am looking forward to more videos on Pharmacology topics like CVS, CNS, Chemo it would be more helpful if you try to add thank you so much
You correlated affinity with Km. But not explained what exactly Km represents. You made one clear concept that affinity is indirectly proportional to affinity.
If Drug X and Drug Y both would need 100g to reach their efficacy then would the way you find out if it brings someone down to a 5 or a 9 by basing it off of the bioavailability? If both drugs are enteral but Drug X has a bioavailability of 93% and Drug Y has a bioavailablity of 86% then you would know that Drug X is the most efficient. Right?
I have finished watching these pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, I bow for you that the length of time and the way how you explained was quite easy to understand, however; I would like to point out that "potentcy" vs " efficiency" part, should it be "Efficacy"? Excuse me if I am wrong but you've done a great job, really appreciated and thank you //^-^\\
not too simple? ..... drug affinity is calculated from ligand binding and is differnt from drug "potency" which is calculated in dose-effect experimens... usually there is no linear realtionship between both parametes ....
Guy you are hilarious! And a brilliant teacher. Howzit from South Africa!

Well done - informative.
Great video 👌
great lecture
Thanks a lot .
Thanks for the video!!!
isn't in efficacy instead of efficiency?
Yeah I was thinking about the same
Most text books use use the word efficacy instead of efficiency
really nice
Thank you sir
Thank you! If I pass this exam then its down to you! Thanks!

dreamw11 According to Wikipedia, it's "Efficacy"
isnt the term efficacy? u kept saying efficiency ... jus asking :/
Ceejay Untouchable agreed.
The first concept how this would help me clinically?? Like?? Why do i need to know it for what?
LOL 😂😆
