The Hard Plastic Telescope Lightsabers from 2008 hurt like hell if you got hit hard enough with it

@@davidasdasd4666at first I thought it just sounded similar, so I went back and watched the scene again and it’s literally pulled straight from that scene with little to no editing to make it sound different. Pretty crazy.

Aren’t the LED and enhanced LED more expensive than RGB ? The LEDs are replicas while the RGB does not seem to be from the movies.

@@LazerSkar they are not a start to getting neopixel, they serve two totally different purposes. Rgb is for dueling, neopixel is for show

The sabers I had as a child were the ones with the plastic blades that you flicked out, they ain’t light up sure but they were fun asf

Yup. That effect is not very good. Best effect looks like Kylo Ren's lightsaber. Ignites fast and has an almost flowing motion to it. Way better than that lagging ignition that everyone's obsessed with.

Telescope sabers will always be special to me, even if they’re not exactly cutting edge. But as a kid? I felt legendary with one of those in my hand.

Bro my father used to make sabers from just some kind of a plastic flat tube and took black tape for the hilt and red/blue tape for the saber.. Best kind for sure

Hey man, to be honest, the first light saber got me through my childhood of loving Star Wars
Neopixel has so, many more start-up options, but that's like powering up an ancient one. Neat effect
Enhanced LED is pretty cool. Much better upgrade over the base LED you'd find in something like the Black Series or Galaxy's Edge, probably doesn't cost as much as a Neopixel either.

I love that I started off with the Telescoping one as a kid in the 90s. To having my first one which is Darth Vaders Black Series.
And after I get my suit together. I'll probably get one of the more advanced sabers from neopix or master replica something like that.
I grew up loving star wars but felt embarrassed for how much I liked it. Like I would be judged. But I stopped caring once I realized how many people love it too.
I only just finished filling my first few shelves with Black Series and Galaxy Squadron items. Hung the Falcon from ceiling and two interceptors to give the illusion its being chased. Along with a aurora/moon projector for added immersion.
I just found a Obi-Wan Vader at Target for $28. It's the only one close to me. Little high but Ebay etc was already going for 30+10 so I figured might as well get it now.
Suit will take awhile since I have no clue where to start.
If I could choose, I would go for the RGB. I mean, how cool the neopixel is, with an RGB you can duel

The best lightsaber is the enhaced led because it lights up really cool
Only legends remember the ones that were made of plastic and you would fling the blade out, and it didn't light up

Some places still have those. Ruby's Halloween Costume company still have them, including the ones that light up.

the enhanced led ignition was smoother than i thought. still definitely glad i decided to go with a neopixel when i bought it

Usually the RGB is durable enough for heavy dueling while the Neopixel is for looks

Ahh yes the neopixel lightsaber. Because in Star Wars every Jedi and sith had to wait ~5 seconds for their lightsaber to load.
