I love JC2, it was my childhood. I loved walking around places, exploring, listening on NPC conversations and driving around the city area.
Same, I spent more time exploring than doing actual missions. This game has such a vibe.
JC2 had the best water because it was a special thing with Nvidia at the time to showcase their water effects on their new graphics cards. I remember if you didn't have their card, the water looked much worse.

just cause 2 had amazing details, the snowman encounter thing,
if you go the the mountains filled with snow you become covered in snow, and if you are in the desert you will be covered in sand

Ok, here it goes. Jc2, definitely best physics when it comes to vehicles and rag dolls, Jc4 when it comes to graphics, minus the water, that goes to jc2, Jc4 best grappling and grappling hook attachments, Jc4 best traversal, Jc2 has some of the best weaponized vehicles but Jc4, including dlc, takes the cake , jc3 best Easter eggs, jc2 best shooting mechanics with the crouch, dodge/roll, and duel wielding, jc4 best looking explosions, jc2 best collision and impact with cars and explosions, best weapons is hard so Ima split it, jc3 has infinite c4 along with a max of 6 grenades, not to mention a nuke launcher, an airstrike summoner, jc4 had wind gun, lightning gun, antigravity gun, plus it had the secondary fire modes, however it reduced the amount of gun spots and removed throwable grenades and c4 so 50/50 split between jc3 and jc4. Jc3 definitely had the best bridge destruction but jc4 had more options to destroy so ima say 60/40 split from jc3/jc4, Jc4 best AI/enemy mechanics where now they think your at the last place they saw u and they can’t see behind their heads, Jc3 best base liberation, jc3 best character model, jc4 best vehicle models, jc2 best vehicle controlling with helicopters feeling more realistic and cars being able to easily lose control and flip at high speeds. I think I covered mostly everything. This is my opinion, wut about urs

@@muchossaugus9927 the world was more fleshed out. Try running into someone on foot in just cause 3/4 npc’s don’t say much of anything. After you complete a mission noting further happens in jc 3/4 right after. In JC2 there is always a clever propaganda spin on what you just blew up. Plus Panau City is a believe still the largest in the entire franchise.

Sorry to say but just cause 2 is the winner here. It balances every just cause game out
just cause 3 and 4 water has physics, in just cause 3, it only gets simulated when bigger objects run through it, or explosions(similar to GTA 5) . in just cause 4, it is similar in Watch Dogs Legion, it only gets simulated by boats passing or running through
I played Just Cause 4 for about 20mins and lost intrest. It's been a long long time since playing JC and I wanted that fun open world craziness vibe so I pick up JC3. So I'm playing JC3 and I love it but I was feeling like something was different. Driving the cars, the gear drops, I didn't see any international airport....yet?..... I didnt remember the missions and locations....The graphics looked amazing and I was thinking that this was a remastered version of the game since PS2.......Then I watch this video and realize it was J2 not J3 that I've been wanting to play lol!!!
Jc3 had wingsuite boost too don't think only jc4 have.(jc3 only had it if you have sky fortress DLC)

I played 1-3. 1 has cool story, cool vehicle storage system, but getting around places is a pain and the grappling hook is horrible. 2 feels like home to me, as I'm from south east asia. It has way better grappling system and very beautiful graphics, but the story is too short and map is too big. If 2 has more content throughout the map, that would be super. 3 has wingsuit, which is cool, but I still love 2.
Strange thing I play Just Cause 4 on Xbox with a Sound Bar and big TV.
I've found the game good but nothing.
Tonight I connected the Xbox on my laptop to use it as a screen and...i had a BLAST and it quickly became my Favorite Just Cause game.
Somehow playing on little screen was Way better than the big TV etc...
But still that water is unforgivable.
I had Epic fights in the sea in the third game but here... 😬.
Hope they learn from it for Just Cause 5 😌👍.

Edit: I just started Just Cause 2. Near the intro you're on top of a car being chased by police. I immediately started grappling the cars to the road. Shit's bananas.

I only ever casually played the JC series.. and the only one that ever really pulled me into it’s world was JC3 .. and that was mainly because of the jet pack … it’s the only game out there that lets you fly around like that .. with unique flying mechanics.. I wish JC4 was more like 3 .. but 4 kinda felt more like 2 imo
