LETS GET RANDY ON THE BENCH - TABLE TOP REVIEW OF THE PRESIDENT RANDY 3

Hi on this video we take a very close look at the Randy 3 AM/FM cb radio, we look at its features and connectivity in this the first part of 3 short videos, in part-2 we get the radio on the test Bench and in part-3 we take the radio out and about to see how it performs.

There appears to be a mod site for the President Randy III and it can be put into one of two HAM modes depending on the code set up on the back of the keyboard by making or breaking certain links.

I hope someone will do a review on the new USA version that is coming out 31 October, 2021. FM CB radio has just been authorized for us in the USA starting 1st January, 2021. Their are six new channels available just for FM. Starting with FM Channel 1 at 27.435 MHZ ending with channel 6 at 27.535 MHZ.

Do the AM U.K frequencies align with the old illegal AM (US) frequencies we used to have before legalisation ? Quite Interested in one of these for in car plus handheld the price is quite attractive if it can fulfil two roles..

I just wouldn't spend that much on a CB handy ,
I don't see the value .
Good revue love the channel but I'm not feeling randy .

You can get the same radio from USA for about $140 delivered, however the US version is AM only. For me the UK price is a tad heavy and if Baofeng can produce digital VHF/UHF radios for £60 the sooner they produce 27 mhz radios the better..
