    After the amount of turnovers the Mavs had, I’m glad they won that game. The Mavs have a horrible turnover issue that needs to be addressed quickly!

      I totally agree. I played from 6th grade thru college. I've never srrn a team that is so "lazy" or "sloppy" with ball handling and especially passing. That includes Kyrie, Klay PJ and Gafford. So many bad passes from top quality professionals is simply baffling. They would be a great team even without Luka if they could fix this issue.

      It might help when Luka comes back. He is known as a high turnover guy, but you're talking about one guy handling the ball on virtually every possession getting the same number of turnovers as PJ, who's getting maybe 20 touches and averaging 6 less assists per game (and all the other non-point guards are getting turnovers as well). As good as Nico is, he fucked up when Luka went out. He should have brought in a real point guard the next day no matter how bad the defense or the shot. Take care of the ball and get it to people in position to score. Instead we've tried Kyrie/Spencer/Hardy/Williams/Klay committee, which has resulted in a high turnover, stagnant offense for a month.

    I disagree. Gaff stood on business the entire game. He was perfect. I mean perfect and went 9 for 9. While he was contesting like a beast every drive near rim, pj was getting the rebound. It was Gaff no laugh!

    Omax’s D has been invaluable. He makes things happen. Smart, minimizes mistakes, plays winning ball! He makes it uncomfortable for the defenders….huge boost to Mavs if he continues to get his confidence on offence and becomes a regular rotation player in the playoffs.

    This is what I want to see! More O-max minutes, more getting Klay involved, more Spencer facilitating, and Daniel Gafford being Daniel Gafford. Great team basketball tonight!
    Gaff for DPOY😤😂

    PJ is a beast! He always takes accountability and he is the lightning rod for the Dallas Mavs! I love it. I love it. I love it. All things said this looks like the turning point for our team.🙏

    OMax will be our Dennis Rodman. But he needs to work on his footwork. So easy to lose his balance.

    • @aldsdwin
      @aldsdwin 19 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      He probably just needs more time to be comfortable on the court. Josh took a long 4 years before he wasn't out-of-control and fumbling on the court.

      😂
      He is a SF and that is the reason why he is playing great right now. PJ is more of a Mavs Rodman however.

    OMax is surprising me! I’m not going to lie, I was starting to give up on him. He’s taken a major leap in his game! He’s turning into the Wing we’ve been looking for!!

  • @angelrivera-sj6gk
    @angelrivera-sj6gk 17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +6

    Jamarion Sharp is still a great option and can compete against bigs of his size, which the mavs don't have. He's bigger than the new guy at 7',1" ! Jamarion can deter a lot of teams that likes to play small ball like the thunder and warriors. And it goes without saying that he can match against porzingis, Zack edy , zubacks and the like.

    • @dk6173
      @dk6173 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

  • @beastscale1892
    @beastscale1892 9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

    O-Max is finally being used as a SF. Thats why his play has improved as they tried to force him to be a Big or PF which isn't his game. His game is speed. Still need to trade for a Big wing on this deadline to backup PJ as playing him 40 minutes along with playing in a center role in lineups is not sustainable. Stretch Big or Big Wing are the biggest needs right now for that second unit. O-Max can stay the 3 while Naji play the 4.

    They way this team turns over possessions it make you realise just how much Luka takes care of the ball for the team. It may seem like he turns it over high, but without him, everyone else turns it over 10 times as much

      Outside of just mistakes credit the opposing team for playing good defense

      Luka gets alot of easy defensive rebounds to get in transition. Kyrie at 6'1 averages more offensive rebounds per game than Luka
      Thats not to say Luka is bad rebounder or anything it just makes sense for him to grab defensive ones due to his playmaking ability

    I would rather keep omax than hardy at this point. 3-d pf is more valuable these days than a offense only 2 guard. I like hardy but I still would dangle him in trade discussions if it means getting an elite point of attack defender
