I love how the line up changes and the music quality stays top notch.
🎼 🎶 🎵 This is a skilled and talented band that plays funky-jazz music that makes one want to dance. Harumo is a genius-master of the 🎷, Emi is a genius on the 🎹 and MiMi is keeping a wonderful jazzy beat on the 🥁. Each of these great musicians is so talented and play so well together! 🎵
Everyone is so GOOD! I have to give special notice to Harumo Imai....she is just amazing. One of the best sax players on planet earth.

Yes she is. And her friend Rani Hoshino is equally good on bass.
she is amazing and at an age when most musicians are just learning to walk! In this video she is doing her job and doing it well. It is not particularly a showcase for her talent. That said, this is a brilliant display of musicality on the part of every musician in this -- great interpretation of a standard that's been done a million times, just beautiful feeling and nuance in every note. They are making waves and I want more! I'm looking forward to what they will bring us.

Love this group; the drummer drives this group and seems like she is having immense fun, always with a huge smile. I really like the other musicians as well. They are each so talented. This interpretation of the Ester Phillips' version has become my favorite. The singer is Rita Nishikawa and she is very good.

I really like this version, very upbeat and sax player is amazing always! I just wish you kept the part at the end when the band was enjoying that moment together....I remember seeing the original session.

That bass player getting busy! cool sax solo!
An old ballad, usually slow tempo but this Jyoshi (girl band) busts out up tempo funky jazz. Esther Phillips makes love to the microphone and the drummer is driving I20 tight bpm. The bass keeps pushing while the little lady with the big tenor saxophone starts slow and comes through swinging! The dude shreds a chorus polishing a jewel performance. I played it 5 times over to really dig it and I know these young musicians of a different culture dug it!
