Hi, you spray Apple Guard on the leather only, piping & strap (try to shield the canvas). I would do 2-3 generous coats. Then wipe off any that get on canvas and hardware with a baby wipe (a couple times). I have the same bag and plan to do the same. The spraying definitely helps prevent water spots and I think helps the color change to the leather (patina process) to be more even over time. 🤗🩵💚 Make sure you are in a well ventilated area outside and leave it to dry for several hours. ☺️

I like the bag but I don’t like the leather. I don’t think it looks nice with the light bag as it darkens. Just my opinion.❤
@felicia2463 It does look really nice as is, I agree! I suppose the upside is that LV will always replace the leather if it darkens too much.
